Almost three weeks had gone by already, and Changbin had met up with the group of friends a few more times after the picnic. They would also stop and have mini-conversations with him if they spotted him in the hallways. The ones he would find more frequently were Chan and Jisung since them two were at the same side of the music faculty. He was yet again at the cafe, in the morning of a Monday. He was expecting for a certain brown haired guy, a year younger than him, to appear and say the words Changbin was excited to hear. And when Felix walked in, for once alone, he couldn't help it but smile.
"Good morning, sir," Changbin said, making Felix chuckle, "How can I offer you my services?" And Changbin thought he was ready for what was to come.
"Can I have a service of Seo Changbin to go, please?" But he wasn't.
Changbin blushed like he wasn't expecting to do it. He had repeated the phrase in his head a hundred times only that morning. He knew Felix would use it. He was ready for it. But no, he wasn't. He totally was not prepared to take that in. He hated that his visions weren't accompanied by the feelings those moments would convey.
"So— sorry, was I too direct?" Felix asked, his cheeks becoming red with embarrassed.
Changbin wanted to kick himself.
"No, no!" He tried to calm Felix, who suddenly looked sad, "It's okay, it just took me by surprise," he said.
"Ugh," Felix covered his face, "This is almost worse than spilling my milkshake over you," he said, his low voice making Changbin shiver.
"Look at the bright side of it," Changbin said, using his hands to take Felix's hands off the boy's face. "Nobody is on the floor or drenched in a sweet and sticky drink," he smiled, making Felix smile too.
"Does that mean that you would really go out with me?" Felix asked him, the blush still not abandoning his cheeks.
"I'd love to."

And that's how, Wednesday afternoon almost night, Felix and Changbin were walking through the sidewalks of Han River after having some kind of dinner in a restaurant nearby. After getting out of it, the younger one had suggested to simply get some ice creams at the convenience store and walk around the park. And Changbin was definitely not going to say no to that petition.
"Do you think there's life out in the universe?" Felix randomly asked.
And that was one of the things Changbin enjoyed about Felix, he always had something to talk about. And it could be random and even stupid, but there was something. Which made being with him even more entertaining than it would normally be.
"I don't know," Changbin replied, realizing he'd never really stop to think about it.
"I think there probably is," Felix continued, biting his ice cream, "The Universe is too big for us to be the only living planet in it. If you think about it, it even sounds lonely."
Changbin though about it for a while, "Yeah, unless they want to enslave us, then I'd be glad to be the only living ones," Changbin said and Felix started to laugh.
"You're right," Felix said and placed his right arm around Changbin' shoulder.
He tried to hide the blush that crept up his face looking at the sky, but Changbin was definitely noticing it. And so, Changbin rounded his left arm around Felix's wait, pulling him closer. They walked around like that for a few more minutes, laughing and joking about any topic that came to their minds. And at some point, Changbin's right hand reached to the hand that Felix had over his shoulder and he intertwined his fingers with the younger.
Changbin didn't realize he'd done this, and he also didn't realize he wasn't following the script. Because he was too caught up on the beautiful human next to him, to pay attention to anything else.
Maybe that was his mistake number two.
