I lay in a Malachai's arms, on his bed in the back office of the warehouse. I draw circles on his chest.

"You know, we've been at this for a week" I note, "Why do you even want to do this with me? You're older, could probably get anyone you wanted and there are a lot prettier girls than me"

I question his motives. Malachai is five years older than me, not that I care. But he could get someone a lot prettier, who isn't in school or just got out of Juvie. He turns around, putting his hand on my cheek.

"I want you because you're beautiful. Funny, feisty as hell, strong and because when I first laid my eyes in you, I knew you were special" he declares.

I look at him shocked, never hearing those words ever come out of a boy mouth before.

"In the past, boys have only slept with me because I'm Viper, the Serpent Princess. Just want it on there list to boast about" I scoff, "So don't say what you're saying unless you mean it Malachai-"

"Hey I mean it. I mean sure, I boast about sleeping with ya but not because you're Biper. Because you're sexy as hell-"

I slap his chest and we both laugh, he pulls me closer to him and brings his mouth to my ear.

"I like you Casey, a lot"

"I like you too" I smile.

Our lips connect together and I roll over on top of his waist.

"I've got a party tonight, will you come? Sneak in the back door, we can have some of our own fun"

"Sounds great. I'll see you then"

I kiss him then put back on my clothes, getting onto my bike and riding to Sweets' van. I spend the afternoon there with him, watching cartoons and having a smoke then head down to the Wyrm to see Toni. I walk in to find Toni tending behind the bar. I take a seat on the stool in front of her.

"Girl where the hell have you been lately? Sweets says you're never home when he gets home from school and you leave when he leaves for school. You got a secret I don't know about?" she chuckles.

I can't help but smile, looking into my glass and swallow the vodka. She gasps and slaps my hand, leaning forward.

"Who?"

"No one, just a guy I've been messing around with. I met him doing my favour for Penny. He's hot as hell and damn charming, I mean five years older then me but who cares. He's just a bit of fun"

"A bit of fun! To my claculations you've been messing around with this guy for a week and he's got you blushing like that?"

"He just said stuff to me today, no one else has ever said stuff. It was cute" I smile, "Plus he's not just one of those guys who want to fuck me because I'm the Serpent Princess or whatever"

"True" she scoffs, knowing the guys that come after me, "Still offended you haven't told me about your secret love until now"

"I just didn't tell you cause I know you're more of a relationship girl! I'm more of a fling girl" I defend.

"Yeah, you are. But never the same guy for over a week! Seeing him everyday. What's the name of this guy anyway?" she asks.

I take another glass of vodka, pouring it down my throat. Thinking I might as well be buzzed before I meet Malachai.

"Malachai" I answer.

Her eyes widen and mouth drops. I furrow my eyes brows at her confused.

"What? You know him or something?" I ask.
