READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ----------------------------->

I read the letter, filling right up with excitement. I found a key in the envelope.
'We are pleased to inform you that...' I read. I screamed out loud. Excitement started bubbling inside of me.
I whipped out my phone and dialed Jazz's phone number. My hands were shaking.
"Hello?" Jazz asked.
"I GOT IN!" I screeched.
"NO WAY! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" she screamed.
"YEAH! I'M SO PUMPED RIGHT NOW!" I yelled.
"That's so awesome, Evy," she said.
"Evelyn, what are you screaming about?" my mom asked, coming outside.
"I have to go, but I'll see you later," I said.
"See ya," she said, hanging up.
I squealed enthusiasm. I couldn't believe it. Oak Wood had accepted ME. Of all people! I was going to Oak Wood!

The rest of the day went by without much excitement. The sleepover was amazing, and I was still really awed that I had gotten in. I had gone to sleep that night with a smile on my face and hope in my heart that things would get better
"Jazz, wake up!" I yelled. I wasn't a morning person, no matter how great the day previous had been.
"Eh, mm," she moaned. I decoded it easy.
"No, not five more minutes. I have to go soon. I'm leaving soon, and I have to pack," I said, still grumpy.
"Eghl," she said, rolling over. "You suck in the mornings, you know that?"
"Yeah," I said. "I know."
"Bleh," she murmured.
We walked like invading zombie as we went downstairs to the kitchen. My eyes weren't even completely opened as I slumped into the barstool right next to the kitchen counter. I laid my head down in my open palms, resting.
"Can't we just go back to bed?" Jazz complained.
"No, I have to leave in half an hour," I grumbled.
"Damn," she said. After a few moments of complete silence, I looked over at her.
There were pools of water filling her eyes slowly.
"Aw, Jazz! Come on, don't be like that! It's not the last time you'll ever see me! We'll go to college together, graduate, and then grow old in a cute little cottage in Scotland. Or an apartment in New York City. Either one," I said.
"I know, I know. It's just that we just became seniors, and now you're abandoning me with Sarah, Maree, and Kylee and their friend, Bickering," she said. I smiled.
"You could always apply," I suggested.
"Yeah, but I have straight Cs and its only two weeks into the school year. I really doubt that I'd get into THAT school," she said.
I didn't really know what to say to that.
"Come on, let's have breakfast," she said, getting up.
I walked over to the fridge, and pulled out a carton of eggs and cheese.
"Omelets?" Jazz asked.
