As I drove up to the beautiful campus, I tried to forget the very tearful goodbyes with everyone.

It really was beautiful. There were gorgeous trees everywhere and it seemed like a dream. I expected people to be flooding the campus, but there were very few.

I took a look at my map, and drove to the parking lot in front of the dorms. I grabbed a few of my bags, but I couldn't carry all of them.

"Here, let me help you with that," called a manly voice from behind me.

I looked behind me to see a man that looked about my age. He had deep brown hair and chocolate-brown eyes. He had strong cheek bones and obvious muscles. He was really good looking. I was a little flustered, but as soon as he came close enough to me, I didn't feel much of an attraction between us.

"I'm Darren Kosta," he said, grabbing about half of my bags easily. "Which room are you staying at?"

"D-10, I think," I said, trying to remember what the stack of papers said.

"Oh, yeah. You're sharing a dorm with my friend," he said. He began leading me to the entrance.

"Is he nice?" I asked.

"Yeah, he's awesome. He's probably my best friend here," he said. "We've been going here for a few years together."

"That's cool," I said. We walked towards the stairs, since apparently they didn't have elevators here. I really began to like Darren. He was funny, and really nice.

"Well, here you are," he said. I pushed the key from the letter in the door and twisted it. The door opened and showed me a fairly large room.

There were two beds; one with a black bed spread already on it, and one bare. The walls where painted white and there was a white rug in the middle of the wood floor. I saw two dressers and a door on the right wall and one on the left. I saw a laptop sitting on a desk with a chair pushed under it. A shelf was sitting in between the two beds. There was a plasma screen with two couches surrounding it that seemed really comfy. A mini-fridge was on top of the dresser.

I put my bags down, and took the things that Darren had brought up and set them in my room.

"Well, I'll see you later," he said.

"Thanks for everything," I said.

"Sure thing," he said, leaving.

Within an hour, I was almost completely unpacked and I had set up a few things. I put up my large circular chair next to the couch, and picture frames of Jazz, my parents, and the rest of my friends on top of the dresser, next to the mini-fridge. My laptop was placed on the desk and a ton of pillows were on my bed with a yellow comforter.

I went to the bathroom to make sure I didn't look like crap after the ride that took forever.

I looked at the person staring back at me when I looked into the mirror. I had large, light green eyes lined with a forest green color. My hair color was dark brown and it fell right below my bust. I had layers that came up to the top of my ears, and uneven bangs that fell right around my eyebrows.

I heard someone open the door.

"There's no way, Darren," came an amazing man's voice. That voice bumped into me from the side. "Whoa, I'm sorry."

He turned around.

Whoever it was, he had a face of an angel. His dark auburn hair had tints of gold and fell into perfect disarray around his eyes. He had a pleasing facial structure, strong but soft. His jaw bone was relaxed and free from any tension.

He was beautiful, but that wasn't what caught my attention. His eyes; grey, just like a cloud before rain, mysterious and hypnotic. I couldn't look away.

"Hi," he said. He was grinning. "I'm Aiden, your roommate."

"I'm Evelyn," I said.

"Aiden," Darren voice called. He came into the bathroom. "Oh, hey Ev. Told you so, Aiden."

"Yeah, dude," he said. "I thought you were exaggerating."

"Um, okay, I'm going to go," I said, starting to walk backward towards the door.

"Sure you don't wanna hang out in your room?" Darren suggested.

"Uh, sure," I said, sitting down on the couch a little uncomfortable. "What's the drama like here?"

"Complicated," Darren said.

"It's actually not THAT bad, except for Ron and Kelsea and her little minions," Aiden said.

"Who?" I asked, confused.

"Ron. He's a second string on our football team, but pretty much the only jerk on our team," Aiden said.

"Except Landon," Darren added.

"Yeah, stay away from Landon," Aiden said.

"How come?" I asked. "What'd he do?"

"Just some stuff," Aiden said.

The both seemed to turn grim when Landon was mentioned.

"Kelsea is Ron's girlfriend, but it's an on-again-off-again relationship," Darren said. "She didn't even have to send in an application for Oak Wood. She just

used her daddy's money."

"Her worshippers are Chelsea and Brittany, and now, Clarissa is going to the dark side, too," Aiden said. "Darren and I are in a group of some of the few normal people at our school. There's Eli, Mikey, Jonathan, Jack, and Mercedes."

"Mercedes is evil. I'm serious, she's like the devil incarnate," Darren said.

"She is not," Aiden said, rolling his eyes. "If you would just keep your pranks to yourself, then maybe she wouldn't torture you."

"She would still torture me! I'm serious, she's has this cruel, insane mind," Darren said.

I looked at Aiden, trying not to blush when our eyes met.

"She isn't. And I doubt that Darren thinks so," he said, turning to glare at him. "They're practically brother-sister."

I grinned.

Aiden stood up and put Paranormal Activity into the DVD player that was already set up.

I was beginning to get comfortable with the two guys, even though there was a fierce attraction pulling me towards Aiden.

But then my phone rang.
