"Uhm, who is Charles, Mom? Why are they coming over?.."

"Oh, Honey, he's the most awesomest man I've ever met."

"Clearly, you thought that about my Dad..." she thought while clenching a fist.

"Mommy's inlove!" sang Johnny who barged in between them.

"Come here, you lil brat!" she said getting annoyed of him.

"What did I do?!"

"You we're being you."

"Why am I still not over this?! Dad was a jerk leaving us!" she thought. "I hate you, Mom! I can't believe you!" she continued.

Riley did as she was told and quickly went upstairs. She tried to calm her anger before it gets too far. Instead, she broke down into tears and tried to stop as soon as she can. Finally, she set her mind on the bright side, if there was one. As long as her Mom is happy then she is too. Charles better be the right guy.

"Honey! Come down quick!"

"Okay, Mom!"

"Also, fix yourself up!"

"What's so important that I have to?" she whined.

"Just do as I tell you."

"Ugh, okay."

She took a gray and blue colored skinny jean and a plain white shirt. Put her hair on a messy bun and put on her converse. Then, she rushed downstairs.

"Honey, greet our guests. Charles and--what's your name, dear?"

"Wallace. You can call me Ace for short." he helped.

"Wallace!" her Mom cheerfully said.

After a moment passed, she finally said "Hey...".

"Come and sit with us, please." her Mom invited.

They all went to the kitchen table and ate lunch. Suddenly, Johnny laughed which puzzled Riley greatly.

"What are you laughing about, weirdo?"

He laughed some more and forced the word "you" to come out.

"What?! Why?!" asked Riley annoyed.

"You forgot to zip up your pants, silly!"

"Oh, shi-" before she could finish her word, her Mom automatically said, "Manners, dear. Remember that, okay?"

She obeyed but she saw Ace smirk. "Oh, brother. This guy better not be as annoying as Johnny. One sibling is enough and I have a bad feeling about him." she thought, not even trying to ease a little.
