8 years ago"Alison. The girl I was looking for." The blonde turned away from her locker to look at the familiar voice,
"Marin, always a pleasure to see you." They both hugged and laughed. Together they walked down the halls of Rosewood high."So I wanted to ask you something." Hanna said and they both stopped in their tracks and turned to eachother.
Alison nodded and Hanna asked away.
"What are your intentions with Emily?" Alison almost chocked on her own breath.
"Wow, straight to the point huh?" She was surprised at her friend's boldness.Hanna shrugged and kept waiting for an answer.
"Well uhm, I like Emily a lot. For now I think we're just good friends?" Alison didn't know if Emily had told the others about the kiss, and since she hadn't talked to the brunette since that day, she wasn't sure how to answer that question."I'm good friends with her but I don't kiss her Ali." Hanna said with a smirk but you could tell she just wanted to make sure that Emily wouldn't get hurt.
"Look, I know you care for her. Spencer and I just wanna be sure that she doesn't get hurt, neither of you actually. And you seem a nice girl, you have been there for here since basically the day you two met. So we just want you to, you know, take good care of her." Hanna said and Alison smiled. She was happy that the other two girls trusted her to take care of Emily.
"I promise you that I only have good intentions, and I'll do everything I can to help her."
Hanna nodded with a smile and hugged her friend.• E •
"Where's Hanna?" Emily asked Spencer as they entered class without the blonde.
"I don't know, maybe she's with Caleb or something." Spencer had talked to Hanna before they got to school, so she knew exactly where their friend was. The brunette just didn't go to talk to Alison as well cause someone had to make sure Emily didn't find out.The two girls sat down and not long after that, Hanna came inside the room as well, taking her sat infront of Emily.
"Hey, where were you? " Emily asked and Hanna turned around,
"I needed to talk to Caleb." She lied and turned around again as the class began.Emily didn't really believe, there was something in Hanna that left suspiciousness in the brunette, but she decided to leave it.
The class began but Emily wasn't really paying any attention as her mind was focused on a certain girl. A few rooms away was Alison, thinking about the same thing.
Both of the girls daydreamed about the afternoon they spent together at Emily's, about how good it felt o be so close, about the kiss, basically everything. For as much as Emily wanted to stop thinking about it, she couldn't, the feeling of Alison's lips on her, the touch of her soft hands on her face, the safety she felt as she layed down on the couch with Alison. Emily loved it all, and remembered every second of it.
You see, Emily was scared to love, to be loved. She was scared to finally have something good and beautiful in her life and than lose or ruin it. She didn't believe that it could last long. Her whole life, she only knew sadness and hurt, everytime she thought something good was in her life, something happend and she fell back into her dark hole. So why would she believe that this time it would be different? What proof did she have that Alison would be the one to take Emily out of that hole forever?
But as all that doubt and fear existed, the ache of not having Alison ran through her body. When their eyes meet, the brunette always got this overwhelming emotion, she wanted Alison, but she kept telling herself that she couldn't have her.
