Chapter 16

Camille's POV

Jamilla was progressing well , but still not well enough to come home. I missed my princess don't get me wrong though the boys are just perfect but she's my only little girl. Jasen and I have grown closer due to the situation and I must admit it felt good to have our family back together. Even if Jasen and I never work out i'll still admire him for putting up with me thus far. Currently we were all in Jamilla's hospital room Jase was playing with his ninja turtle action figures while the twins were watching cartoons on the small hospital television. Jasen was playing on his phone and I was just taking in this moment. Jamilla was laying there talking to Emmanuel about which princess was the best it was so cute to me. Then the doctor walked in.

"Hey Ms.Daniels I have amazing news for you today", he said with the biggest smile

"Whats up doc", I said

"Well she's out of the woods and looks like you can take her home tonight if you'd like", he said while looking over at Jamilla

I was ecstatic and so was everyone else. My baby was coming home . I thank god for all that he's doing for my family. After signing her discharge papers and Jasen paid the hospital bills we were packing her things.

"Camille I was thinking maybe tonight we should celebrate", Jasen said holding Jason

"Sure", I said

Jasen's POV

This was my last chance at getting my family back. I needed them back so that I could get my life back on track. Tonight I was going to prove to Camille that I was ready for commitment I was ready to be a family man. We agreed to have family dinner at her favorite restaurant to celebrate my baby girls return home. I dressed in all white and pulled my dreads back the way Camille likes them. Then I threw on my gold rolex my diamond studs and my gold chains. I decided to ride in my new all white inside and out dodge challenger. When I pulled up at the restaurant I saw Camille and the kids standing at the door she looked wonderful. She wore a red dress that hugged her curves, her hair was pulled up in a messy bun she made me horny just by looking at her. Jase , Jaden and Jason were all dressed alike in cargo khaki's with a pink polo and a white horse and their white GNikes my boys had swag. Jamilla wore a pink polo dress with the white horse and white sandals she was just stunning.

"Hey buddies", I said sneaking up behind the boys

"Daddy!", the yelled jumping all over me

Man I loved this . Just me and my family. After greeting them all I picked Jamilla up and we walked into the place and Camille picked our table.

"You look nice", I said trying to make conversation

"So do you", she said not even looking up from the menu

"I miss you", I said getting straight to the point

She didn't respond and that really hurt me but I had something for her something special. I got up and walked to the back of the restaurant and requested that the manager cut the lights off and he did as told. I'd asked Tyrese Gibson to come and sing Camille her favorite song "Sweet Lady". She had no idea what I had up my sleeve. Once the lights were hit Tyrese began to sing and I walked out holding a little black box that contained one of the biggest diamond rings money could by. After the song was over Camille was in tears and when the lights came back on I was on bended knee in front of her.

"Camille baby I know that things haven't been easy and I know that i've asked this question before and I know that i've hurt you in the past but baby I promise that I'm done with all that and I just want us to be a family again so baby with all that being said will you marry me?", I said looking into her eyes

"Yes", she managed to croak out in between sobs

"Yayyy", the kids screamed

This was all I needed my kids and my woman no one else mattered.
