Chapter 37

Camille's POV
I watched Jasen sleep Pop Pop had just given him blood now we were just waiting to see the outcome. My momma took the kids home since it was so late. I wasn't leaving Jasen's side at all I hated to see my baby like this and Chalil's rabbit face ass still hasn't come around. Cam had to leave due to work I wasn't mad at him. Me and Pop Pop just sat there motionless waiting for any sign of life. He looked like a lifeless robot. Until he moved his fingers I immediately called the nurses. Thank god I was ecstatic. When the nurse came in the room she rushed over to Jasen and checked his vitals. Then his eyes opened and he opened his mouth to talk but couldn't.

"Why can't he talk", I asked getting worried

"He can ma'am his throat maybe just dry", She explained

I rushed to fix him a cup of water placed a straw in it and placed it in his mouth. After a few sips he spit the straw out.

"Thanks baby", He said in a dry husky voice

I grabbed his face and kissed him all over it I was so thankful for him. Jasen really was my world and I realized that. He didn't say anything else he just sat there looking at the ceiling then his eyes filled with tears.

"Whats wrong bae?", I asked

"I can't believe I almost died and possibly had to give you and the kids up baby, Ya'll are my everything I almost gave up in that operating room but I saw their face and yours and I knew that I had to fight baby", He said looking at me

I was speechless

"I can't believe I almost died babe at the hands of your brother, you know this means war right?", He said turning red

"Look baby I know what Chalil did was wrong but at the end of the day he's still my brother , and you know I can't let you hurt him", I said in between tears

"The fuck you mean ! You think imma let that nigga shoot me and get away with it hell no ! His ass is going to pay and I mean that shit", He semi-yelled

"Jasen you know if I could I would've took the bullet for you ! I was trying to make sure our babies were safe ! I'm all for making him pay but I'm telling you now that YOU ARE NOT KILLING MY BROTHER", I yelled

"Man miss me with that bullshit", He said

"You know what Jasen I've tried to reason with you but if war is what you want war is what you'll get", I said and walked out of the room

Jasen has another thing coming if he thinks I'm gonna let him kill my fucking brother I don't know whats his problem but he better get it the fuck together and I mean that.

Trying to write two books is kind of hard lol.
