Chapter 9 - Rough Edges

Candy's POV

I was currently folding baby clothes and putting them in the babies' dressers also packing my baby bag for when I went into labor. Jasen was gone somewhere and Jase was with my parents so I was all alone. My phone vibrated and it was a facebook notification from my childhood bestfriend Miya. Me and Miya were thick as thieves growing up until she met a gangster from around the way and got pregnant and her parents made her leave town. I vowed that if I ever saw the thug who knocked my bestfriend up i'd have my father to take him out. Miya was asking if i'd like to meet for lunch at my favorite restaurant of course I accepted her invitation. I decided on wearing some of Jasen's clothes because none of mine fit anymore not even my maternity clothes fit. I looked at the clock and it said 11:52 I was supposed to meet Miya at 12 so I settled for Jasen's black and white nike sweat shirt and sweat pants and my black and white nike free runs. I pulled my hair into a low ponytail put in my diamond stud earrings and my diamond studded tennis bracelet and my 50 carrot gold encrusted engagement ring . Yes I said engagement ring Jasen finally bought me one. I grabbed my bag then wrote Jasen a note telling him where i'd be and stuck it on the counter because I knew he'd be calling me later. I made it to the restaurant in about 20 minutes when I walked in I didn't see Miya anywhere.

"Camille is that you?", I heard a familiar voice say

When I turned around I saw that it was Miya but she looked so different . Then I got a closer glimpse and saw that she was the woman that left her son on my doorstep eight months ago. So Jasen was the thug that knocked my bestfriend up? Before I could say anything else I got real lightheaded and everything went black.

Amiya's POV

I had the perfect plan to get Jasen back I was going to take his precious little girlfriend. See I already knew Camille me and her go way back but I always hated her guts. She always got all the boys and her family seemed so perfect while I on the other hand was living with my crackhead mother and her rapist husband. I always envied what she had while she always took it for granted. Now was the perfect time to get revenge on the both of them. I knew exactly who would help me carry out this plan too Jasen's mother Lisa she always despised of him and his father she's been helping me all along all I had to do was lure Camille in and bingo we'd kidnap her. It worked like a charm now Lisa and I were taking her to an old abandoned warehouse across town.

Jasen's POV

I'd been out all day looking for Amiya's ass and she was no where to be found. So I was now headed home to take and hot shower and spend some time with Camille like she wants. When I pulled up and opened our garage I noticed her range rover was gone so I figured she probably just ran to the store. When I walked into the house I threw my keys on the kitchen counter and then I saw a note with Camille's curvy hand writing on it.

"Babe I'm out with my friend Miya at The Lounge see you when I get home , Love Camille", was what the note said

She's never mentioned a friend name Miya to me before. Then it hit me she was talking about Amiya I remember back when I first started messing with Amiya she told me about this Milly chick who she was bestfriends with but really couldn't stand. Man this shit was all falling into place I had to find Camille before Amiya tried some foul shit. I called up Emmanuel and the guys we strapped up and we were on our way to the lounge. All I could think about was my baby and my kids that she was carrying.

*on the other side of town*

Pops POV

"King ?", the guard called

"Yea man", I answered

"You're free to go ", he said opening the cell

This was the day I'd waited for , for 13 long years. I've missed so much outta life for some bullshit I didn't even do while chasing after Jasen's mother. Lisa was a fox when I first met her our first night of sleeping together we conceived Jasen I was excited while she only saw dollar signs due to me being the biggest king pin around. When the money dried up so did Lisa's loving she left me with Jasen and two weeks later the cops were dragging me out of my house because they found cocaine in every square inch. She'd planted it and stole all of my money when I was taken down. When I got out I vowed to myself that when I found her I'd kill her ass slowly I'd make her suffer. Today was the day I began my search for her ass.
