part xxiv

jungkook took the letter from his teachers hand with a cheeky smile plastered onto his face.

the days have been becoming much more tolerable ever since the whole pen pal thing his teacher forced the class into doing.

his classmates didn't necessarily like the idea, but he and jimin were actually pretty excited to say the least.

he happily skipped over to his seat and got situated before he even began to open a letter from yoongi.

he had been having so much fun creating those silly goodbyes in substitute for what he was actually supposed to close off the letter with.

the teacher had been talking, but he pretty much muted her out as he carefully opened up the letter, making sure not to rip the pretty sleek black envelope with the overly simple handwritten to and from in white pen.

he finally managed to pull out the sheet of paper from the envelope.

he giggled as he read the letter to himself, and threw his head back as he smiled more after he read yoongi's reaction to his goodbyes.

jungkook didn't even have a goldfish, but he was happy that what he wrote made yoongi laugh.

but then he reached the bottom of the letter.

there it was again.

an even bigger smile stretched across his face as he picked up his pen.

"oh, and if you feel comfortable you can send pictures. just please don't send anything inappropriate." the teacher sighs, "jackson, i mean it."

jackson's mouth falls opens comically as he sarcastically looks around the room, the class giggling at his childish action.

jungkook decides to ignore him and continue his letter, but he was stopped again,

"i have your school pictures here. you can take yours if you want." his teacher says before taking a seat at her desk.

the boy bit on the top of his pen unknowingly, thinking about whether he wanted to send a picture or not.

so you're just going to let a 'baby' start a business while you sit back and do nothing? i feel attacked.

anyways, i'm sending you a school picture of me today. don't die, okay? i know i look funny. i kind of just wanted to show you what i look like, i don't know what you've been imagining but this is me. oh, look at me babbling. i'll just be going now.
