jungkook sat at his school desk with a pout tugging at his lips. usually he'd be chatting away with a few friends beside him until he gets in trouble by his teacher for being too loud. jackson usually being his right hand man.

however, as of late, jungkook had been feeling rather down. not only was his friend jimin missing, jin had also been stressed out lately and he couldn't bring himself to put anymore stress on his hyung, let alone yoongi. he just didn't want to be a burden to anyone any longer. so for now, he decided to be tough and deal with it himself.

his small pout dispersed when he felt a tap at his shoulder, "hey jungkookie~ are you okay?" the boy asks quietly and simply moves the pencil back to his mouth to chew on, "yeah donghyuck, m'fine. why'd you ask?" the boy was slightly curious as to why the boy he sits in front of and rarely ever chats with was suddenly asking about his well-being.

the boy drops the pencil and leans forward across his desk to reach jungkook's ear to whisper in, "y'look so sad and it's making me kinda sad too." he admits to jungkook who feels like crying at that instant and he holds his urge well, for he didn't spill a single thing.

"are ya sure? we don't talk much, but m'here if ya need me... okay?" jungkook nods, understanding donghyuck's kind words and returns to his own work that he wanted to finish before returning back to his home.

'ah! i should write back to yoongi hyung~' he thinks to himself and pulls out a new piece of paper.

jeon jungkook
