I went to school, made friends, did things you'd expect most girls to just do in day to day life. (Flashback)-A very long one
'Omg I finally have enough money to get a PS4... best day ever!' That was the only thing going through my mind as I rode my midnight purple bike to get to Best Buy downtown. It's completely pitch black out and I've got no idea what the hell I'm doing but I seriously want to start playing Titanfall. It took about 10 minutes but I found a spot to place my bike and lock it so no assholes could steal it, I started going down an alleyway as a short cut to the store big mistake. As I started down the Alleyway with a slight smile, I was slammed into the wall, my yelp cut off as I spun around to see a guy in a hoodie, it was too dark to make out his face. My thoughts were quickly cut off when he pulled out a pistol and aimed it at my face. In less than a split second time seemed to slow down as he pulled the trigger... Only for the bullet bounced right off some kind of force field that surrounded me, him following straight after. I was visibly shaking as I tried to process what the hell just happened but not for long as I took the chance to bolt straight for my bike. Yank off the lock and speed away in record time. By the time I got home it was midnight and every house's lights in the vicinity were off, thank god. I was a panting mess when I finally stopped. I didn't know what to think except 'Holy shit that just happened, how did I do that? How is this even possible!?' I didn't know what to think as I came inside and made a b-line straight for my room, praying it was all just a dream. Stubbing my toe on the damn table definitely proved my theory incorrect as I stumbled in with a groan. 'Ok wow I was seriously wrong about today, I'm just going to sleep on this thank god it's summer' I thought bitterly as I fell asleep rather quickly.
(Time skip, next day)
I groaned as I woke up, groggily heading to the bathroom, first thing I notice is that my eyes have changed colour, so has my hair. "Wha.." was all I could say in my state as I looked in the mirror to see a purple streak on the side of my once just plain dark brown hair, my eyes glowing a bright galaxy purple.

(The streak has these colours but it's just a large strand on hair on the right, the hair itself is long and slightly curly) As I looked closer my face seemed way clearer than normal, I was slightly taller and my form was dare I say way more muscular than I was before. I have grown to be almost 6ft tall overnight. I had no idea what was happening but all I could assume was that what happened last night must have triggered dormant powers I never knew I even had. I could only guess I also could shape-shift, which was unintentional might I add, and I had biotic powers from my favourite video game Mass Effect. "This day is just getting weirder and weirder" I muttered to no one in particular. I started to panic slightly when I heard my friend Alice walking down the hallway 'how am I going to explain this to her!?' I screamed in my head, I stripped and quickly jumped in the shower as she walked in, definitely just woke up too. "Morning Alice!" I said in a slightly more cheerful voice than my usual simple tone 'wow way to go me, she will totally not notice that' I scolded myself but she just grumbled out a cheerful (as cheerful as someone who isn't a morning person could sound) tone "morning Saph" as she brushed her teeth. I let out a quiet sigh of relief when she left shortly after, did I mention she was over for a sleepover? I said goodbye as she left, still in the shower, got dried up and dressed. She had to leave shortly after so I just yelled my goodbyes across the room while she rolled her eyes playfully and then left to drive home. I stayed in my room for a bit, replaying last nights events in my head, only now realizing how stupid I was. The fact that I almost died was seriously stressing me out but I am so glad that I got a stroke of luck at that exact moment. I go into my room and shut the door, hopping onto my queen sized bed with a sigh. I stare at my hands and try to focus on what I felt last night to try and recreate what happened. In under a few seconds my whole body flares with biotics, the blue and purple light swirling around me like northern lights, just like in the game. I started creating designs in the air with just simply drawing with my finger, hearts and diamonds was all I did, I was never much of an artist. Remembering the different things that can be done with biotics in mass effect, I decided to try making myself hover, my whole body started to glow brighter as the biotic flares left my hands like fire but never burned, I was a meter in the air before I dropped back down. 'This will take some getting use to' I thought to myself...
(Time skip a few hours later)
The sun is now setting and after some practice out in my backyard I figured out how to use my biotics as if I had used them my whole life. I can now create singularities, and can use pull, kinda like the force. Thinking back to this morning knowing that I could shape-shift, I decided to test out whether or not I can shape-shift into anything, including mythical creatures. I instantly thought of becoming a Night Fury, so I formed the shape in my head and closed my eyes, I could feel my powers swirl around me as I focused more on the details. When I opened my eyes, the first thing I noticed was that I had much sharper eyesight, I could hear the faintest rustle in the trees, my smell has improved greatly too. I looked down to find instead of hands, large black scaly claws, I huffed in surprise "I-it worked?" I said in disbelief, only to hear a string of growls come out of my mouth. I craned my now large neck to look at the rest of my body, massive wings protruded out of my back, I had jet black scales with a few midnight purple ones here and there, the spines on my back were split in two rows, and were glowing blue and purple. 'Wow' was all I could think as I walked up to large glass door at the back of my house to see my eyes haven't changed to the bright green eyes that Toothless has from HTTYD. I knew by this point it's too dark out for anyone to notice me unless they are specifically outside to look for a Nightfury in an already darkening sky. So I did the only thing I have wanted to do since childhood. I straightened out my massive wings and lifted them as far as I could, it felt like second nature as I launched myself into the air with great power, I climbed higher and higher into the air until I was above the clouds and could see all the stars, my reptilian eyes sparkled in wonder as I stared at what was above me. I levelled out and came to a smooth glide to just enjoy the moment, it felt amazing to finally have something I dreamed of doing for so long become a reality, I could barely contain my excitement as I led out a roar of happiness dived back down towards my house to get back to normal and get inside. My landing was not as graceful as I pictured it as I slowed down too late and slammed headfirst into the grass. I made a very not so dragon like yelp, "Ow, crap that hurt" I growled as I spat out the dirt, I shook myself off and returned back to normal and headed back inside.
Wow so that's the end of my first chapter, it was longer than expected but I guess that's a good thing, I promise to get to the traveling through dimensions bit soon, until next time guys ^_^
