I sat in the wheel chair and laughed as Darry and Dal tried to get it up the steps and through the door. Finally they were able to do it. Its about time.

"Flower!" TwoBit yelled

I held out my arms and hugged him.

"Flower!!!" Soda screamed

He ran over and hugged me.

"I missed ya sis!" He said

"I m-m-m-m-miss y-o-yo-you t-to-to-too." I said

"She talks!" He yelled

I grabbed his hand to pull me up. I held onto him and took a step. I did! I took another and Soda helped me.

"She walks too!" He yelled

Everyone cheered.

"P-p-p-ponyb-b-b-bo-bo-boy." I said

"Hm?"

"Go give your sister a hug." Darry said

I let go of Soda and hugged Ponyboy.

This had to be the best day ever.

Dallas and I sat in my room.

"I know I don't show it much but I do love you." He said

I nodded

I pulled out a book and handed it to him.

"Sign language?"

I nodded

"Why? you can talk." He said

"G-g-g-g-good hob-b-b-by. It struggle." I said

"Ah..okay."

We spent hours in my room both learning. Until we both finally got it.

"I'm going to try walking." I signed

"By yourself?" He asked

I nodded

"Be careful babe." He said

I slowly stood up and took a step and then another and another.

"Holy shit!" He yelled

I screamed.

"What what what's wrong?!" Soda asked

"I can walk!" I signed

"What's? That?" He asked

"Sign language. She said 'I can walk.'"

"Wait you can!?"

I took a few steps towards him.

"Maybe you'll be able to dance again one day." Dal said
