It was nearing in on Prom season and as it got closer I was getting more and more nervous, I don't wanna be the sad girl that has to tag along with her friends who all have dates. My three best friends already have dates but I'm not surprised they're beautiful. I have a prom dress picked out and some gorgeous shoes but it might just all go to waste, Ik Ik you don't need a date to have a good time but I want one I wanna show dance and so all the romantic shit.
In third period my friends continued to whisper next to me and giggle at certain points.
"Guys tell me what you're on about" I begged for the fourth time
"No shhh do your work" Ella said causing me to huff and carry on with our biology assignment.
At the end of the day we all walked out the main entrance of the school and they seemed to drop back for a moment. I turned around to ask them what we were doing but when I turned back I saw my crush Kim Taehyung standing in front of me with a red rose in his hands.
He looked so good that I started blushing furiously.
"Y/n? I hope this doesn't come out to cheesy, but you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. I love your amazing long hair and gorgeous e/c eyes, everything about you is perfect and I would love it if you would be my date to prom?...and eventually be my girlfriend" he whispered the last part but I still heard it, it made my heart flutter and I ran up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Of course I will be your prom date, and eventually your girlfriend" I also whispered that last part so no one would hear it, causing him to gasp and blush.

It's prom night and all the girls are round my house getting ready for prom. I had my hair and makeup professionally done so I looked better than usual, my own makeup isn't bad but it's not spot on like a make up artist. The girls are straightening and curling their hair and making themselves perfection. Meanwhile all our dates are waiting downstairs with our parents, none of us know what each other look like, we've planned it to be a sort of movie moment where all the girls come down the stairs like princesses.
"Ok I'm done" Kate said finally after applying her lipstick. I opened my bedroom door and shouted downstairs that were ready so our parents could get their cameras out. Kate walked first, then Cam, then Ella and then ...me.
As soon as I clapped eyes on Tae I was shocked into place, he looked immaculate with his black suit on and piercing brown eyes staring at every part of me, devouring my look.

"Awww look at them darling, it's like how we looked at each other in school" my mums statement snapped me out my thoughts
"Ok mum" I said as I continued to walk down the stairs, taking Taehyungs hand as I reached the bottom so I didn't fall.
"Wow you look so beautiful " he almost whispered, not taking his eyes away from mine.

The dress I chose hugged my curves perfectly and splayed our at the back so I had a little train to follow me. The intricate beading made me sparkle as I walked past lights.
"Tae you don't have to hold me the whole time you know" I giggled
" I know but the beading feels funny" he said running his hand on the back of my dress, causing me to laugh.
After pictures were taken we all piled into the limo we hired and headed towards the venue. When we got there it was same old protocol, pictures and smiles with everyone. I do have to say tho when Tae was taking his pictures with his friendship group my knees went W E A K (sorry it's a bit blurred)

The way they walked as a group was like they had their own wind breezing bast everyone that witnessed it, like magic to be honest. As they walked by us Tae grabbed my hand and we walked into the venue together.
The evening was lovely, we ate an amazing chicken dinner and danced the night away. My favourite was the slow dance and the way he meant down to my ear and started humming the song as we swayed to the music.

"Yes tae"
" I really would like you to be my girlfriend one day, but before I'm going to take you out on dates and prove to you that I can be a good boyfriend" the fact that he wants to put so much effort into winning my heart, did it for him.
