Thanksgiving Bonus

"When is everyone going to arrive?" April, Giovanni's fiancé, asked me.

"Soon." I said taking the last pie out of the oven.

"I can't believe you cooked this much food."

"Well I didn't do it alone." I said smiling at Macy, our new maid/housekeeper. "This is going to be the biggest thanksgiving dinner we've had in a long time so had to make sure we made enough."

"Babe, come help me set the table." Giovanni said stepping inside the kitchen.

"Okay." She smiled.

They were so cute. It was about three months after meeting her that he proposed. He said that she was the true missing piece of his soul. She was his other half.

"I'm going to go change. If guests arrive, please show them to the living room."

"Yes, ma'am." Macy smiled and nodded.

I took my apron off and laid it on the counter as I exited the kitchen. I got up to our bedroom and went inside our closet.

I took off my clothes which were covered in flour and other ingredients I had used.

"Now this is what I like to see." I heard a voice say from the doorway.

I rolled my eyes and continued changing clothes.

"All done cooking, Bambina?" Vincenzo asked placing his hands on my waist.

"Finally. I think we made enough but I'm not 100% positive. You guys eat like starved cavemen."

He got a mischievous sparkle in his eyes. "I can save some for the other. I don't have to eat that food at all."

"Then what will have you for dinner? It's thanksgiving. You have to eat."

"I can have you dinner and dessert." He winked pulling me closer.

I rolled my eyes at him again. "I don't think so."

"I did it last night didn't I?"

"That was different."

"How so?" He asked cocking his head to the side.

I didn't have an answer and he knew it.

"We have to go. Our guests will be arriving any minute now." I said trying to move past him.

"Only after I get a kiss." He said placing one hand on the back of my neck.

I leaned up and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek to which he let out an animalistic growl at.

His grip tightened on my hair, and then he crushed his mouth against mine. It was owning.

"F*ck, Tesoro." He groaned.

I met his urgency with my own, wrapping my arms around him and bringing him closer.

The sound of the doorbell ringing broke us apart.

"Let's just cancel this dinner and go to bed." He said sliding one hand down to grab my bottom.

"We can't. I spent to much time making sure everything is perfect."

He groaned. "Fine but they are not allowed to stay for more than three hours."

We walked down stairs where Knox and Scarlett were standing with Phoenix behind them.

"So happy you could make it." I said hugging them all.

"Happy you invited us." Scarlett said with a smile.
