Art isn't everybody's strong suit

Art isn't everybody's strong suit. Especially not Min Yoongi's. I mean ask him to through a free throw, he's all over that. However, you ask him to draw a tree and the boy would end up breaking his pencil due to stress.

Baby is great at drawing. She loves to sketch when she's bored. Lots of her paintings hang in her room and in the main office at the orphanage. You ask her to draw a bird mid flight, she's all over it.

"Ok class!" Mr Mir shouted to get their attention. Most were sat in their friendship groups, on tables and chairs. "Sit down." Mr Mir added, people started to sit in random seats, close to their friends.

Yoongi's stare was stuck to a certain girl as she sketched in her book. Her hair laid perfectly at one side of her head, the light from outside shone in her eyes making them twinkle.

"Welcome to Art, I'm Mr Mir, for you guys who don't know. I usually teach seniors and juniors, however since this class has been mixed, I now teach all years." Mr Mir went on about class rules and expectations. He handed out school sketch books to the students.

"Now, since this lesson is starting later then usual, I would like you guys to just draw something you love, it doesn't have to be a human, it can be anything." He finished.

"I'm gonna draw you babe." Baby mentally gagged at the couple sat a few seats in form of her. She knew that the boy's picture wouldn't even come out good and his girlfriend's nose will most likely be crooked, but she would lie and say she loved it anyway.

Baby was having a hard time in deciding on what to draw. Love. Love is a complex word to some. Or a simple word described in a person someone feels strongly about. Baby had no family to love. No boyfriend or girlfriend.
She had done portraits of the girls too many times, she even has them framed on her desk, and she gave one to each of them for Christmas.

One thing not a lot of people knew about Baby was her love for rap and dance. She used to do it all the time. Until she turned 15, she just stopped. Started focusing on her studies and taking care of the kids at the orphanage. Forgetting all about her passion for music.

I'll draw someone dancing Baby thought and started sketching.

"Mr Min will you shut up?" Mr Mir shouted at the boy, who didn't seem to hear.
Yoongi was messing around, along with his friends. However, he was mostly at fault for the loud shouts and laughs. Since he couldn't be bothered to draw, he decided to just talk with the boys.

"MIN YOONGI MOVE RIGHT NOW!" Mr Mir shouted, causing said boy to fall of his chair. "Where?" He muttered, annoyed by the interruption. "Next to Baby." He said noticing the empty seat by the student.

Yoongi froze, his friends snickering behind them. "Go on Yoongs." Taehyung encouraged. "Grow some balls." Jimin whispered, earning a slap to the head.

Yoongi cautiously walked over to the girl.

"Just sit down." He heard her angelic voice say. He immediately sat down, noticing she wasn't uncomfortable by it. "Hey?" He tried to get the girls attention, but noticed her focus was purely on her drawing. He peered over, getting a look. It was beautiful. The girl was leaping in it, with air holding her up, bits of colour popped here and there. Music notes were decorated along the page.

"Do you like it?" Baby asked, noticing his stare not leaving the paper. "I-it's really good, amazing actually." He looked up into the girls eyes. Her smile radiated pure joy. "Thank god, I was worried for a second." She giggled, causing Yoongi to chuckle.

"You love dancing?" Yoongi asked, wanting to learn more about the girl. "Well, I used to dance all the time, I loved it, I felt free." She said, looking down she smile dropping. "You don't dance anymore?" She quickly shook her head. "Why not?" Yoongi didn't mean to pry, he was just curious. "I'm...not sure." Baby turned to the boy, looking deeply into his eyes. "If you were told to choose, a stable future, leading to a job, followed by a family or the things you love, like basketball or music, what would you choose?" It was clear this was a serious question to her. She seemed to be waiting for an answer.

Yoongi thought long and hard. Getting a job and a family would be amazing. He's always wanted a little boy and a certain girl he knew as a wife.
However losing music. The one thing he loves more then Basketball. He has a huge part in his heart for it. His passion never died down or went away. It just grew bigger and bigger.

"What I love. Leaving music and basketball behind would...just stop me from being happy. I wouldn't be able to enjoy anything. I...would feel empty." He whispered out. Yoongi's was mind wandered.

Did she really leave her dreams behind? For some future that may or may not happen? Her passion? Her love? Yoongi thought, looking up to the girl, trying to figure her out with simple looks.

"Good. Don't leave your dreams behind Yoongi. You'll make it, I know you will."
