Baby took the lollipop out of her mouth, sighing. It just wasn't helping. She threw it in the bin next to her. Opening up her bag, she rummaged around trying to find a cherry flavoured one.
Baby was in the hallway, sat on the window ledge, which was placed over looking the school's entrance. She didn't know how she got there, but that didn't matter. All that mattered was that she felt sick. So sick that it hurt.
Chaelin has taken her last packet of cigarettes and Baby had no more cherry flavoured lollies left. Which was the only flavour that stopped her cravings. Baby thinks it's because that was the flavour of the lollipop she got from Yoongi, at the drive in.
Soon enough Baby threw her bag at the wall across from her, running her hands through her hair out of frustration.
"What did that bag ever do to you?" Baby turned her head to look at the boy beside her. "A lot actually." Yoongi smiled down at her. He moved the abandoned bag out of the way, and sat across from her. "What's going on in that head of yours?" Yoongi questioned tilting his head.
"I don't even know anymore. I think it's broken." Baby leaned her head against the window. "I could get you a new one." Yoongi stated, causing Baby to giggle. "I'll take you up on that offer." Both of them laughed, voiced laced with happiness.
"You smoked again." Yoongi broke the comfortable silence between the two. "Yeah, I guess I did." Baby muttered. "It's all a blur to me." She added, looking out of the window, her own eyebrows furrowed. Yoongi looked at her, not understanding exactly what she was saying.
She seemed confused about her own actions. Like she didn't act them out herself, like they weren't true. It confused him. And it scared him.
Yoongi ignored his own thoughts and reached into his pocket, grabbing the lollipop he had gotten for the girl. "Hey, it's cherry." He said throwing it to her. Baby caught it, and smiled over to him. "Thanks." She immediately unwrapped it, putting it in her mouth.
"What's going on in that head of yours?" Baby asked Yoongi, looking into the boy's eyes. "A lot." He said, not breaking eye contact. "I have time." Baby smiled even bigger.
