"I'll ask first

"I'll ask first." Baby said, looking out in to the distance, trying to figure out a good question.

Yoongi had agreed to the idea of 20 questions. He thought it was an easy way of getting to know the girl more, most likely falling in love with her even more. The two sat side by side on the stone bench, wind blowing gently pass them. The view of the team playing a small game and the cheerleaders cheering for them. Yoongi smiled unconsciously.

"I've got one!" Her voice surprised the boy. "Hobbies?" She asked, looking into the boy's eyes. "I play basketball and make music, rap preferably. I rap in the underground actually." Baby sat with an unimpressed face. "And?" She questioned. "What?" Yoongi asked confused. "How does that make you feel?" Baby nudged him.

"Well, it makes me feel...happy. Makes me feel free. Like it's just me and in that point of time musics the only thing that matters, that scoring that shot isn't for the team or the audience, it's for me. It's nice, to be able to do something for myself, yet others enjoy it too, makes me feel...warm inside." He had never told anyone this, it was just like others told him. Baby's aura felt safe. Like it was ok to tell her this. That he wouldn't be judged. The atmosphere was filled with...acceptance.

"That's beautiful." Baby said to the boy, with a bright smile. "Your turn." She added, smile never leaving her face. "Oh, well, what's your family life like?" Yoongi felt like he asked a highly personal question, but her smile seemed to brighten by it. "I was orphaned at the age of six, but it's amazing, the kids are the best, saying goodbye to them is hard, but it's nice to know they have a family. I do have Lucas and Kun for company, even though they're annoying as hell. Others feel bad for me. I feel great, like my life will blossom the day I leave. I've been taught everything I know by the workers and I'll hold that in my heart for the rest of my life."

Her deep meaningful answer brought a smile onto Yoongi's face. He wanted to feel bad for the girl, but hearing her joy and enthusiasm of living there stopped him. Even though, looking deep into her eyes, he knew she wasn't all that happy. He saw the broken pieces in her eyes, and he was determined to glue them back together.

"What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?" Baby asked, hesitantly. "You really wanna know?" Baby nodded eagerly. "Well, my friend Taehyung likes dares. He somehow roped me into playing with him. The last dare he gave me was to wear a skirt to school the next day, and I never back out of a dare. So let's just say it was very breezy the next day."

The two laughed together, Baby looked over at the boy in admiration. She smiled even more seeing genuine happiness on his face.

"What do you do in your spare time?" Yoongi asked, wiping his tears away, from laughing too hard. "I listen to cassettes." Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows. "What?" Baby went into her bag, pulling out her portable cassette player. "I don't have Spotify or any of that stuff, and I like vintage music. These are called cassette tapes, you put them in here and it plays automatically, wanna listen?" Baby held up one of the earphones, Yoongi grabbed it and placed it into his ear, Baby doing the same.

A bass drum played, followed by a bass guitar mixed with an acoustic. A girls voice began singing.

You came to set my heart on fire
Then you just left it to burn
This cold dark ashes
This cold dark ashes
I earned I earned I earned

Yoongi began tapping his fingers to the beat. Seeing Baby's foot doing the same. Glancing up at the girl, he noticed her eyes were closed. Her head and body swayed to the music. She was apart of it. She was in it. This was her way of expression.

Yoongi's hand unconsciously slid up to hers. Baby noticed looking at it then back up to the boy, who's eyes were already looking at her. She smiled, interlocking their hands.

"I liked it." Yoongi said, taking out the earphone. "A lot." He added. Holding her hand tighter.

"Yeah, so did I." Baby sighed in content.

They just stared into each other's eyes. Trying to read each other. To figure out the other.

Ring Ring

"Well, it looks like we won't get it finish." Baby smiled. "I'll see you later." She said to the boy, finally letting go of his hand. "Wait." Yoongi held her wrist. "One last question." Baby nodded for him to ask.

"Can I get your number?"
