Viktor POV
I take Yuri's hand in mine and then take off. He's surprised at first, but quickly catches on as we run together through the halls. Turning corners and passing hallways until we reach room 117.
I come to an abrupt stop, causing Yuri to slam into my side.
"Sorry," I say apologetically. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," he says. He takes his hand out of mine and fixes his crooked glasses.
I place my hands on his shoulders and turn him to face me.
I decide to try to scare him a little.
"Yuri, there's two things you need to know about Madam."
My voice is so serious that he swallows and begins a cold sweat. His eyes become anticipating, expecting the worst.
I immediately feel bad and drop the act.
"Ah, there's no need to worry! I was just joking. Madam's really nice."
He visibly relaxes and then makes a pouty face.
"Viktor, you scared me."
He's so cute. Maybe I should've put him on edge a bit longer.
"Well, there's no time to waste," I say then knock on the closed wooden door. I can voices in the classroom, and a pair footsteps approaching the door.
A medium height woman with wavy, dark shoulder-length hair opens the door and people from in the room crane their heads to see.
"Viktor!, bonjour!," Madam says with a light French accent, smiling.
"Bonjour Madam!," I reply.
She seems to just notice Yuri.
"Ah! Un autre ètudiant?!"
I nudge Yuri with my elbow and he gets it.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Yuri Katsuki. And I'm, uh, sorry for being late."
He gives Madam a bow and I stifle a laugh.
"Yes, Yuri! I saw your name on the register. There's also another new student named Yuri. Anyways, Bonjour Yuri!"
"Bonjour Madam!"
We enter the classroom and everyone stares at us as we walk to the back of the room where two middle seats at a table for four are open.
I sit in the seat next to a slim brunette girl and Yuri sits next to me, a boy with shoulder length straight blonde hair at his end.
When class ends, me and Yuri walk out together.
"So Yuri, what do you make of culinary so far?"
"Well, Madam seems really nice and I can't wait to-"
Before he can finish, a sharp accented voice calls out.
"Viktor!" It yells, aimed at me.
Who the hell...
I turn around and see the blonde boy from earlier, the one Yuri sat next to. His hands are in the pockets of his white jersey, and his hood is partially up.He seems to know me, but do I know this boy?
He begins to walk up to me, slow and deliberate. When he reaches a few feet away he stops.
"Tch!," he exclaims as he turns his head to the side, a scowl on his face. Then he looks back at me, his sea green eyes staring into mine. "Today. Right now. I'm going to make the skate team." He turns away, hands still in pockets, and walks off. "I'll show you." Are the last things I hear him say.
