"Shut up" Jungkook's laugh ripples throughout the dance studio as the boys decide to call it a night.
"Well maybe you shouldn't have eaten that-"
The blonde boy was cut off by Jungkook's sweaty towel meeting his lips. His shriek echoes throughout the now dark studio, and Jungkook's and Hoseok's laughs are so loud he's sure you can hear them from across Seoul. The two stumble out the studio in a rush and slam the door shut in sheer panic. "Asshole!" the short boy shouts as he finally burst through the studio door. Instantly the two boys break off into a sprint towards the stairwell, their laughter amplified in the stuffy area.
"Okay- but he's right" Hoseok manages to speak between chuckles and their heavy sprint down every level. Jungkook harshly slaps his arm and cringes at his action wondering how his roommate will retaliate. He finds his muscles relaxing as the older just offers him a heart shaped smile before holding the stairwell door open for him.
He dashes past the older, muttering a thank you as he does so, before rushing down the concrete stairs. His heavy breathing and pants echo throughout the cold stairwell, and he cringes at the sound of Hoseok laughing as he trips over his own feet a few times. The two's eyes widen at the sound of the metal door only a few stories above them slamming open, and its a miracle how much they fasten their pace.
Jungkook almost cries out in panic as Hoseok passes him, leading by only a few stairs, but he holds himself together and manages to catch up before the two of them break through the first floor door.
Jungkook knows Jimin more than Hoseok does, and he's very aware how much the older won't be getting over this anytime soon. He lets out a choked laugh as he sprints in a random direction with Hoseok totally slipping his mind.
Curses threaten to escape his thin lips as he trips over his feet in half ass attempts of avoiding bookshelves. He has to slow down occasionally to squeeze between the bookshelves and where lazy ass kids didn't push their chairs back in, earning a low growl from the back of his throat. At this point he should have just dragged Hoseok to the exit.
Although his eyes widen in the familiar sight of the art room double doors, and instantly he knows where he's headed. His eyebrows narrow as his fingertips grasp the metal and he's ready to throw all his weight at the door to push it open, but his eyes widen as he feels himself falling and the metal escaping his touch.
It takes a decent second for it to connect all in his brain that he was falling forward since someone must have opened the door from the other side before he had a chance to do so himself. And now he clinches his shut ready to launch himself into the tile floor well aware of how much the impact is going to sting.
Yet it doesn't come, rather he knocks into someones chest, and he feels ashamed as the stranger and himself stagger backwards into the stuffy basement hallway. He cringes as the heavy door clanks shut, definitely echoing and giving away his position. Jungkooks eyes snap open at the sound and he definitely isn't about to leave this kid behind to give away his location when Jimin comes hurdling from the door.
"Jeon I can hear you!"
He scrunches his nose as he grips the wrist of the stranger and begins to sprint in the direction of the closest class room.
"I'll explain later" he mutters, well aware of how crazy he looks and sounds. He leads the two of them to the end of the hall and they both stumble into a dark classroom. The adrenaline is starting to die down as soon as he finally gets the chance to just breathe again, and he hastily releases the strangers wrist realizing it was wet. "Ew- what the heck-"
