YeolRin side story

The night before the Wu's party, Haerin was packing his bag, literally stuffing all her books because she was late to meet her boyfriend, Park Chanyeol, at the basketball hall. It was quite far from her classroom, and there's only one minute left till 4pm, the time they promised to meet each other.

She hurried her footsteps with her brown, authentic, mcm bag slung on her shoulders. She passed many classrooms, but when she reached Jimin's, she could see her, facing a guy. The guy had his back on her but it's a familiar one. It's like... Chanyeol's. But it can't be possible right?

She found herself running to the basketball hall with hope to see her boyfriend, practicing his drills as usual every afternoon, but to no luck, it was only her. She waited, and waited, after ten minutes, he finally appeared. "Wow you're early," He neared her with an amused smile.

"I'm not early, you're late," She's ready to know everything he has done behind her back.

"Yeah I know, I'm sorry but something came up just now," He sat beside her, guiltless. Just confess already, Chanyeol.

"Something like... meeting a girl?" She refused to let him hold her hand and sat a little far away from him.

"I'm sorry babe, it's not like what you think,"

"Let's break up," She was already heading towards the exit without waiting for his explanation She didn't know it will all end just like that.

"Wait, why? Whatever you saw is wrong. She's not my anything, babe. You are. You are my everything," Her eyes met her gaze as his tone softened a bit, like the romantic kind of whisper although it's not a whisper.

"I'm tired of all this. Let's just... break up," Now, there's only him inside the big basketball hall after Haerin closed the big door in his face.

That night, nothing was in her mind accept for Chanyeol. Chanyeol, Chanyeol, Chanyeol,  Chanyeol. Her mind was chanting a mantra of his name and she herself don't know the reason. She recalled the memories they made together, from their first meeting, till now.

Her first impression of him was not good. He was wearing a kid polo shirt, with his hair styled and was sitting beside her friend at the school cafe. They were seven back then, and she knew that Park Chanyeol, her two year older senior, had hit many girls in their school they're attending.

Yes, they had been in the same school for as long as she knew, until high school, they were still not seperated and that's because their parents were close. They have not seen each other since Chanyeol went to middle and high school  first, then two years after that, they — Haerin, Sehun and Jimin all entered the same school as him.

But all the years they were in the same school, that only meant having the chance to see him around the school, during break time and that's where the sparks of love started. She really had grew fond of him but held back, knowing her status. So it was all a crush thing, but she had never felt that way before, with any guy. No one had caught her eye except him.

Not until one day, Chanyeol announced her as his girlfriend, out of nowhere. But nevertheless, she felt good. Although she knew she should have not believe the guy who has cheated many girls in their school, she thought that she was different. That he actually had loved him, and she did too. .

They held hands and hugged, like normal relationship, but he never said the eight lettered, three words and never kissed her, that sometimes made her hesitant to give her everything to him. He had come up with an excuse.

"I am reserving it for the future, with you, so that it is special," It is a lame excuse now that she think about it, but when in love, nothing in the world matters, right? That was exactly her.
