3rd Person POV;

Tsuki Micheals awoke in a cold sweat, completely at a loss for what she had just dreamed. She couldn't believe she had a brother! A brother who would die before he had a chance to live, if she didn't get to him first. "Shit! What the hell! Why would my mom keep something like this from me." She spoke out loud to the empty room. She picked up her cell phone and called her mother. She always known where her mom had gone. She had walked out of Tsuki's life a little over eight months ago. She had two foster placements since she was found living on her own. After a battle with the flu she had missed a few days of school, when the school tried to excuse her absences by sending home messages and calling her mother with no response. They later sent a caseworker to check on the family. It was then discovered that she was living on her own everything was set up for Tsuki's care. The bills were paid each month, grocery deliveries coming every week. The caseworker realized that someone, probably her mother, was caring for Tsuki's basic needs without being involved in her day to day life. When the findings showed that Ms Michaels hadn't been home in over 3 months, Tsuki was placed into the system. When her mother was located and the custody issues were solved, she would be allowed to return home. The phone rang twice before Tsuki heard a sleepy hello as her mother answered the phone and she spoke urgently. "Mom you have to send me to my brother in Japan it could mean his life!" Her mother was quiet for a moment and then she said she'd send her to him, by contacting their grandfather telling him to take custody. She also told her she'd send her birth certificate to her. She explained that she was born in Japan, and according to her mother was supposed to have duel citizenship. Because her birth was in Japan it apparently trumped her US citizenship, as well as her Mom not finalizing her paperwork. Well that explained a lot about her heritage, and why she looked asian! As she finished talking to her mother she knew she was still having troubles with the dream visions Tsuki had forced her to see, the same things she had dreamed about tonight. She fell back in her bed falling into a dreamless sleep, as soon as her head hit the pillows.

Morning came quickly, when the twins entered her bedroom, to wake her up. Their parents having left for work already leaving Tsuki to feed them, get them ready for school, all on her own. She didn't mind it too much. They were really good kids for 6-year-olds which they didn't act like most 6-year-olds ran around and played. Not Adam and Anna, they were quiet and subdued. In truth they acted like her coming home, doing homework, studying, eating the dinner that their mother planned with no complaints. Tsuki's foster mother planned their meals, the twins ate everything while there were things that Tsuki wouldn't touch. "I don't know about you guys, but how about we go to the bakery by school today?" "Mom wanted us to eat the cereal this morning." "I don't like those cereals they taste like cardboard smells! But if we don't eat it mom will know." "She won't know, we can take it with us and feed the birds and squirrels." She watch as they lit up and rushed to get ready. Tsuki got ready herself, and was downstairs dressed and ready to go, putting the cereal into baggies and cold cups for the milk. Tsuki knew she couldn't get caught getting the twins junk food. As their mother was a nutritionist and wanted them to eat a certain way. She limited everything from the calories, to the sugar they ate. The twins followed it but Tsuki fought it. Causing a friction between her, and her foster mother.
When her cell phone rang surprising her it was Ms Carol. Her mom sure moved quick! Before Tsuki finished saying hello Ms Carol spoke. "Good morning Tsuki! So we found your mom she's in the hospital! She's having a hard time! She didn't want to be hospitalized, but her doctor decided it was in both your best interests. We were able to locate her because your grandfather got in touch with her. Something happened you were supposed to be with your grandfather. Also you're not a citizen of the US. Your mother never finished your paperwork. So you're kind of in limbo. We'll be sending you to your grandfather in Japan it'll take a few weeks but, since he's your legal guardian you belong with him. He filed the paperwork yesterday. Once it's cleared, you'll be leaving. I'll be in touch soon I suggest you start saying goodbye to those who are important to you. You also have an older brother so that will be something good." So her mother was giving her to her grandfather. Her grandfather must really want her. At least her dreams, if they started to affect her family she could live on her own in student housing. She remembered the last time she saw her mom, how frantic she was! How it look like she was barely holding it together for Tsuki sake alone. getting lost in her memories of the last time she saw her mom period while waiting for the twins to come downstairs.
