Chapter 5

Tsuki's Pov Homra;

The last year before all our troubles was moving quickly away from me! Swiftly moving rushing us headlong into the turmoil that would bring chaos to all the clans. I just hoped my clan gets through with just the few minor injuries I had seen! Yata had become my stead fast companion, and secondary protector staying close by watching over me. I would smile at him and he'd turn red as a stop sign. I would then tell him, "Yata you are the best protector a girl could ask for!" He'd mutter something about it being his duty, or that the King would want him to watch over his kid sister, or some such excuse. Mikoto, my brother the stray collector! Everyone of Homra is the same as it's first 4. Strays that built a bond stronger than blood. We were a family built on true loyalty.

Summer had come finally to Japan and I was in the process of getting my brother to take us to the beach! Kamamoto was skinny again as what happened every summer. And all the guys were trying to get him fat again! Somethings never changed. I had a dream about a drug dealer moving onto Homra's turf, but Mikoto put a stop to it before it ever started! So that's how my winter days were spent. So back to getting my lazy assed brother off the couch and to the beach. "Mikoto I want to go to the beach and I can't go without you. It's to close to the Blue Clans territory! Their King has threatened me twice! If he shows up and takes me it's your fault! Mikoto Suoh, are you even listen to me?" He grumbled a bit but sat up, and looked me in the eye saying the dumbest thing ever. "Can't you see the future! So you could tell if your in danger?" He knows it doesn't work like that! For myself it was subjective. I would see if something would cause an injury sometimes, while getting an occasional detailed dream about it, especially if other people were involved. Now other people I could map out their whole future! Especially if they were apart of or going to be apart of my daily life like Anna was going to be, and Mikoto, and Tatara I think that's why their timeline was so easy to see and manipulate. To change it so I didn't lose them. "Oh my God Mikoto you know I can't do that! By the time I saw a danger to myself it would already be to late to change it!" He grunted and said let him change, finally!

The beach;

Anna and I are in our bathing suits. I've pulled her hair up into twin buns on the side of her head, her doll was the same with the matching swimsuit. I was playing in the water with Tatara. While every girl on the beach was eyeballing my brother, along with all the guys from Homra! I laughed knowing what the girls saw. I just saw my very handsome brother, and some of my best friends especially Izumo and Tatara. Those two were just like big brothers to me as well! Anna built sand castles, the guys swam and surfed. I stayed close the shallows just in case Anna wanted to play in the water. And my brother was laying on a sun chair with a umbrella shading his lazy ass. I knew he wasn't asleep but paying attention to everything going on around him like always! He just had to lay down to do so for some odd reason. It was then I saw where Izumo was talking to Lt. Awashima again. As I paid attention to her face for the first time I realized this was the woman Izumo was on a date with all those years ago. That's probably why she never came to Homra! Her king would probably see that as fraternizing with the enemy. I see as she begins to point over at me and was speaking in hushed tones. Telling Izumo something about me. All of a sudden Mikoto, and the guys are up getting our stuff together. "Hey Tsuki's were going to check out a haunted cave wanna come with?" My brother reaches out his hand to me and I follow the guys to the cave. Anna clings tightly to me, as we entered the cave showing the little girl she truly is. We heard the noises and all the guys got spooked. Mikoto realized it was something else, besides a ghost was at work here. A little later we found the boy who was trying to communicate with his friend who did die in the cave a year ago. So the cave wasn't really haunted it was people mistaking him as a ghost. It was getting late and Anna was asleep in Mikoto's arms. The guys went there separate ways. Since some wanted to play arcade games they said they see us later.
