Zoe POV
I looked up to see... Alex's face looking down at me.
Oh great, just what I need. Note the sarcasm. I really do NOT want to deal with him right now. Especially since, I heard my new friend's pink car calling my name.
"Hello gorgeous." Alex whispers in my ear. "And where is this lovely lady heading to this fine day?" I signed in slight annoyance. "If you must know, I am going to the mall with Carmen." I replied a little angrily then I meant it to come out.
"Ouch, sassy, I like it." He said with a grin.
"Now if you'll excuse me." I said and tried to walk away. I didn't want to be too mean to him.
"So I'll pick you up at 8?"
"I'm sorry" I said "I have umm."
I fumbled around looking for an excuse "a date with Zander!" I finally continued.
Great... I just totally lied. Maybe I can ask Zander out later.... Hopefully he'll say yes. If not... Talk about awkward!
"Oh really..." Alex said, "I'm sure that could be rescheduled.
"NO! I mean No sorry it can't he made special reservations that can't be cancelled. Sorry!" I hurried to get away before he could say anything else.
Phew! I thought I would never get out of this one! Now I only have two problems.
1. Get Zander to go on a date with me
And
2. Find some money... SHOPING TIME!

4 Hours later
DANG! That girl knows how to shop! Thank goodness that this pack is the greatest in the country not to mention the richest... So, I didn't have to pay for a thing! I did as any normal werewolf girl would do in this situation... I WENT BALISTIC AND SHOPPED LIKE NO TOMMOROW!
Who knew I could blow off 1,000 dollars in one mall! I bought all the latest fashions but made sure that all the clothes were decent. I didn't want to become another... Maddi. I also had some sort of respect for my body. Is it possible to be tired after a shopping trip? 'Cause after all that shopping, I pretty sure I could go into hibernation right now.
Shoot! I still have the "Date with Zander" What am I going to do. Suddenly like an answer to my greatest nightmare, Alex shows up with a rose in his hand.
"Milady!" He exclaimed.
"I don't know who you are talking to, 'cause I know for a fact that you are not talking to me!" I laughed
"Awe! Come on Zoe its 8 o'clock and I don't see your 'prince charming'. Let's go! I have a special place in mind..."
Then like out of a movie my knight in shining armor descended from the spiral staircase. But alas! Not in the real world. Zander clamored down the stairs clothed in sweat from a gym workout. It is what it is, but this was the best I was going to get.
"Hey Zoe! Alex." he nodded. "So Zoe, will you be ready to go in 20 minutes?"
"Where?" I asked.
"On our date of course! Did you forget?"
"Oh of course!" I replied paying along "I'll be ready in 20 minutes."
"Great!" he exclaimed then ran up the stairs.
"No matter what you do to avoid me Zoe, I will catch a date with you!" he smirked, winked then disappeared into the basement.
"I called down the basement door and said "Don't worry we can still hanG out later." I stared to walk away then thought otherwise
"Just as friends!" I called down then walked up the stairs
I ran up the stairs delighted that I got away from Alex, but curious about how Zander knew I needed a date.
