After class, Y/N immediately went to the lockers to put all of her books needed for tomorrow. She shove her books quickly because she's meeting his seatmate, Namjoon in the rooftop.
She's still wondering why Namjoon wants to meet her.
What was the reason? Did I do something wrong? did he knew that I was using his pen that I borrowed last week and I didn't returned it?! She thought of random questions in her head.
She sighed thinking of those things. As she closed her, she found a pair of brown eyes staring at her silently. Y/N couldn't help but jump out of surprise.
It was Kim Seokjin staring at her.
When they locked their eyes, he suddenly blinked 3 times and looked away. She saw her closed his locker and walked away.
"oookay..?" she muttered and tilted her head in confusion.
that was kinda weird... I know he saved me from that gym storage and I thanked him for that but why did he stared at me lile that and suddey walked away?? she thought.
Y/N went to the rooftop and opened the door leading to it. As she opened the door, there she found Namjoon leaning on a wall with his right hand kept in his pocket while the left hand holding a cellphone scrolling.
"For a nerdy guy like him, he seems so attractive." Y/N muttered under her breath.
She can't help but to blush because of what she said.
me? finding him attractive? this is what they called that stage, huh..?
"Oh? You're here already? Sorry I didn't noticed." Y/N was startled a bit when she heard Namjoon talked.
She can also feel her heart racing.
On the other hand, Namjoon walked closer to her. Whenever he thought about what Jin told him, he couldn't help but feel a little bit angry at her.
He wants to know why did she kept a secret from him when he was her friend and also her seatmate.
As soon as Namjoon knew about you locked in a dark gym storage, that night he asked his classmates about it and told him about her past.
Namjoon can't help but to feel angry about it and feel sorry for her. Sure she was bubbly and all but those smiles hide a million painful feelings. He realized that she was masking all of her emotion everyday.
She may act like an annoying otaku but she's doing it to hide her pain.
As he walked closer at her he noticed her face was red.
"Yah, why is your face red? Do you have a fever?" Namjoon asked her.
She immediately shook her head and laughed nervously.
"It's just the lighting Joonie." She said as she gave him a flat smile.
Namjoon seems to buy her reason. They stared each other for a second as she cleared her throat.
"So.. why did you want me to meet you up here?" Y/N asked him.
Namjoon stayed quiet before asking about what happened to her last 2 weeks ago.
"Joonie?" Y/N called his attention back as he spaced out for seconds.
"why didn't you told me that you were locked purposely in that gym storage?" Namjoon asked straightforwardly as he looked at her.
Y/N was taken back about his question. How did he knew about that? she thought.
"I thought I'm your friend? Why did you keep it to yourself?" He asked her again with worry.
She can't find the right words to tell him the truth. The truth of being an outcast and the truth being the victim of bullying.
She couldn't tell him those kinds of things because she doesn't want to be vulnerable infront of him.
Namjoon saw her being shaken up because if his question. He can saw her sweat on her forehead and how she clenched her hands inside her pocket.
He sighed and touched her shoulders.
"Y/N.. look at me.." He said as she slowly looked at him.
Her eyes were full of doubt and anxiety. She looks so anxious. Namjoon saw that and he can't help to feel pain too. Seeing her like this makes him feel pain too. He's sad when she's sad.
"J-Joonie... I-" She couldn't finish her sentence when she felt a warm arms hugging her tightly.
"shh... It's okay if you can't tell it right now... I know it's hard to open up those feelings. Just letting you know that I'm here for you.. You're not alone now because you have me. You have a friend now." He said as he hugged her.
As if on cue, her tears started to fall and hugged him back.
She's been wanting to hear those words for a long time. Hearing those words from him sounds so warm and sincere.
She can't help but to cry because of those words he just said.
I'm not alone because I have Joonie now.
