15-Seeing is beliving

Clint woke up with an awful headache. He opened his eyes but immediately shut them again as the light from outside made the pain in his head swirl.  A faint knock was heard from the other side of the room, keeping his eyes closed he called for the knocker to enter.

"Morning, Clint. How do you feel?" Bruce said kindly as he walked in.

"I would feel a lot better if it wasn't so bright" Bruce nodded and asked FRIDAY to dim the windows "thanks. So what's my diagnosis Doctor Banner?"

"concussion and shock" the scientist stated simply. "Take these, they will help with the pain. You can do what you want now but I would advise no training for a few days and definitely no missions" Bruce gave a sharp look as he handed the Archer some pills and water.

After a few minutes, Clint left his room and headed to the mine living space. He casually had his sunglasses on so the brightness of the day wouldn't cause him any pain.

"Hey! Look everyone, bird boy has emerged from his nest" Tony called out earning a small chuckle from 'bird boy' himself. Clint's smile immediately faded as 80% of the team all looked at him with concern but equally curious eyes.

He sighed and took off his glasses, briefly holding the bridge of his nose then looked up again. "I'm assuming you all want to know what happened?"

"Well, yeah"

"Sam!" Steve gave a warning look at the Falcon.

"What? Dude gets a concussion and says he has seen a ghost and you don't wanna know more?"

"It's fine, Cap" the Hawk made his way to an empty spot on the couch and began to reply his experience. "This man, he was standing outside your room, Wanda so I went to see who he was and get him away. It was dark so I couldn't see that well but the light from your room showed his face and-" Clint took a deep breath then gave Wanda a sympathetic look. He held eye contact with her as he finished. "-and it was, Pietro" the entire room was still. "He apologised before throwing me to the wall"  He finally looked away when tears started falling down the young girls cheeks.

Everyone's eyes where drifting between each other, no one saying a word. Vision was comforting Wanda as she cried not really knowing how she felt. Natasha noticed Clint quickly wipe a tear from his cheek and a small sniff. Tony and Bruce looked at each other, panic plastered on there faces.

"Shit!" Tony shouted standing up, all eyes on him.

"Tony" Bruce said cautiously "don't"

"What do you know?" Cap stood up facing the billionaire.

"We knew he was alive" Tony took his fingers through his hair in frustration.

"What!" The Scarlett Witch shouted, her eyes glowing.

"We knew but didn't say anything because he vanished and we didn't want to give anyone false hope just in case he was dead" Bruce called over the shouting, everyone seemed to calm down but tension still filled the air.
