Brooklyn hadn't spoke to Jack and Rye much after that day, too embarrassed to face them again, though it was only a couple days before he couldn't take it any longer.
"Andy?" he asked, the others had gone to the shop, so it was just Brook and Andy still in the studio.
"What's up?" he questioned.
"What do I do about Jack and Rye?" Brooklyn said quietly.
"What about them?"
"We uh- i- well, um..."
"Again?!" Andy chuckled.
Brook nodded slowly, "yeah, like, sober, but I haven't spoke to them since."
"Have they said anything?" Andy raised a brow, "or done anything weird?"
"Nah, but-"
"Then they're fine, just talk to them," he chuckled, "you've got nothing to worry about!"
"How do you know?" Brooklyn mumbled.
"They're probably more concerned that you're ignoring them," Andy tilted his head.
"Ignoring who?" Jack asked, coming back earlier than the others.
"You..." Brooklyn bit his lip, "sorry for being weird after what happened.."
Jack pulled him into a hug, "good! You can stop being weird now, yeah? I've missed you!"
Brook chuckled, "yeah?"
Jack nodded, "and I need to talk to you."
"What is it?" Brook raised a brow.
Jack pulled Brooklyn downstairs so they were alone, apologising to Andy on the way down.
"Rye's been acting kinda weird," Jack said once they were alone.
"Wait, what? Because of-"
"Nah, not that," he reassured, "like, he's been acting boyfriendy, and like, getting jealous and it's weird..."
"Good or bad weird?" Brook frowned.
"I haven't worked that out yet," Jack admitted, "i like jealous Rye because holy fuck, but like, we're not together, we made that clear to each other."
"What do you do do when he's jealous?" Brook chuckled.
"Fuck," Jack smirked, "I'll tell him to fuck off and then he'll get all rough and fuck me and- wow- like, it's worth it but what if we're not on the same page anymore?"
"Talk to him about it," he said slowly, "just be like yo what's with the jealousy lately, and see what he says."
Jack nodded, though wasn't sure whether he was going to do that or not. He hugged his friend, "thanks."
Brooklyn hugged him back, "no problem, we're good, right?"
"Course we are," Jack smiled, "you should talk to Rye too, yeah?"
"I will do," he nodded, and they went back upstairs to be met with all the guys.
"Ryan?" Jack and Brooklyn said in unison, then burst into laughter.
"That was weird," Rye chuckled, "what is it?"
"Jack needs to talk to you," Brook laughed, earning a glare from Jack.
"Brook can go first because his is more important," he chuckled, happy to get away with it as Rye lead Brooklyn out if the room.
"Sorry for being weird the last couple days," he said when Rye looked at him expectantly.
Ryan smiled, "it's okay, are you okay?"
Brooklyn nodded, "yeah, I just felt a bit weird around you both after what happened but then I felt weirder ignoring you guys and i-"
"Brook," Rye laughed, "it's cool. We good?"
"Course we are," Brooklyn smiled pulling him into a hug.
