We was finally heading back to our home and most importantly our babies. Both me and Bones have missed them so much, the way they wake us up on the dot of seven every morning, the way the boys can never play a single football game without breaking something, the way Payton can't live without her daddy's cuddles. It all makes my world and I feel like I've not seen them forever. My mum knew me and Bone would be arriving around the time that the kids would be having tea, I couldn't wait to have my beautiful children back in my arms.
Bones and me headed out of the taxi hand in hand both exhausted and aching from the journey but still very much happy to be home. We let ourselves in and headed straight for the front room, the first thing we saw was Payton crying she was so happy to see her daddy that she was stood still like a statue "come here princess." Bones tired voice gently said as Payton ran like lightning back to where she belongs. She was gripping onto her dads shirt as if he would disappear if she let go. Oscar, Olly and Jake suddenly ran towards me as they wrapped me in a bone crushing hug. I could hear Olly's whimpers which was unusual he doesn't usually cry when we get home.
The kids had all settled and was happily in bed, me and Bones had both finally sat down in front of the television with a drink in our hands. We didn't even realise it was our wedding anniversary until we noticed a card of my mum. "To my beautiful first born baby girl and the most loving kind caring son in law, happy anniversary darlings we love you and are so proud of you both." I headed back into the living room with our drinks and kissed Bones shoulder "happy anniversary baby, here's to us and many more years to come."
We was so in love. We was so happy. We was facing the world as a team.
Suddenly the door started to be knocked on with a rapid motion. "I'll go." I headed to the door to be greeted by a face I didn't think I would see again. At least not for a while.********************************************
I'm back!!!
Who knocked on Georgie's door?
