5) A Half Baked Plan

A/N - 100 reads? I didn't think this story would go that far, I know 100 doesn't seem like a lot but that mean a lot to me so thank you guys. Also sorry I just notice that a part of the authors notes was still at the bottom of the chapter so I had to quickly remove that, my bad. Now hope you enjoy chapter 5!!

Katelyn laid on her bed staring into space trying to come up with a new plan. For the past few weeks she has been trying to talk to Aphmau but every time she tried, her knees goes weak and her tongue twisted. She slightly laughed to herself.

"I feel like Garroth and Laurence."

She lightly facepalmed herself in annoyance. Katelyn got up from her bed and sat in front of her computer, hoping Netflix would distract her from her desire of Aphmau. However a loud shattering sound echoed from outside her room. Katelyn immediately got up and rushed out her door. Soon the faint voice of Aphmau began to yell to another person. Katelyn approached her room.

"Aphmau are you ok-"

"What could possibly be more shocking than you and Vylad stealing my ladder and breaking my window!"

"They want you and I to pretend to date for our mom!"

'That was Zane, he's asking her out? But he said pretend, what's going on?' Katelyn listened as the boys explained their problem and their solution but to be honest she didn't like where it was going and didn't want that plan going through. However she know she should get involved as well as she felt bad for listening in, even if they're ridiculously loud. Katelyn took a few steps back and yelled

"SHUT UP!! YOU GUYS KEEP YELLING AND IT'S KEEPING ME UP!!" She listen to the others as they plan their next move. Katelyn heard footsteps nearing the door and she ran back to her room. She began to pace back and forth.

"I mean I could try to expo-." She stopped.

"No I can't do that. Besides she's just pretending, it's not like they're really going out." She flopped back onto her bed. Maybe some more sleep would help her come up with a plan.

Aphmau POV

'What did I get myself dragged into?' Aphmau thought to herself as she listened or tried to listen to Vylad's "dating lession". First it was teasing each other then holding hands then ugh the nicknames and then hugging. She already could feel herself regretting this and just as she was gonna back out, a voice yelled otherwise

"AND THERE'S MY FUTURE DAUGHTER IN LAW!!" Aphmau laughs awkwardly as Ziana tackles her into a hug and rants on about her being part of the family now and at that moment, she knew there was no going back. Not without breaking her heart. So she sighed and resigned to her fate.

Ziana dragged them to the mall and forced the fake couple to pose for her amusement. Aphmau at least enjoyed the baby pictures and watching the guys attempting to hush their mom up. But then Zianna took her shopping and got separated the guys, leaving just Aphmau to fend for herself which was no
easy task. The Ro'meave mother began bombarding her with question, whether it was about their "relationship" or more trivial matters, causing Aphmau to continue spinning more lies. Well more of agreeing to whatever fantasy Ziana had in mind. What really threw her off guard was when Zianna began to ramble about proposing and worse... granbabies. She could feel herself slightly shudder at the thought, no offence to Zane. However Aphmau began to feel the weight of these lies on her conscience which made her desire of leaving the situation stronger and it didn't help that Ziana was bouncing off walls in happiness for her son. The guilt was getting too much.
