A/N: Fuck, I forgot to upload. I was pretty busy today, hope you guys understand! I've come to the conclusion that if I'm absent for a number of days, then I'll post that number of chapters! If your confused, then this basically means that if I'm out for two days, then I'll post two chapters. If I'm out for three days, I'll post three chapters. And so on and so forth.
Anyway, have a good day, I hope you enjoy!

Rantarou got up early on the weekend, something he doesn't regularly do. He got up and did all his necessities, then walked out the door. He went to Kaede's house, his other friend. She was a really great person, she noticed when others were down and did anything she could to help. Rantarou was glad she was alive.

The day Kokichi confessed, she noticed Rantarou walking down the street. She knows he only walks around when he's either bored or when he's down. She walked to him and talked for a while. Kaede wasn't someone to judge another person for their differences, Rantarou knew this and told her the whole situation with Kokichi. She said if he ever needed to talk, she'd always be open, and this time now was one of those times.

Rantarou walked to her house, so many things rushing through his head. He hesitated before knocking on the door, which not shortly after was answered by Kaede. "Rantarou!" She smiled, that was another thing he liked, her smile. It was calm and sweet and never forced. She offered him to come inside, which Rantarou complied. "I'm making breakfast, care for anything?" She asked, walking towards the kitchen.

"No thanks, I just want to talk if that's alright." Rantarou answered, resting his hands in his pockets. "Of course, of course. I'm listening." She answered, smiling again. Rantarou sighed. "You remember that time I told you about Kokichi and what happened?" Kaede nodded, humming a tune to herself. "Well, I couldn't stop thinking of it ever since. Yes, I'm worried, yes, I'm concerned, and more importantly, yes, I'm confused."

Kaede turned to him. "What about?" Rantarou sat at a stool near the counter. "Well, Kokichi and I have been friends for a long time now, we can basically tell eachother anything, so when he told me he liked me I felt all achy inside. Like my heart was being squeezed." Kaede nodded, Rantarou continued. "I've liked girls, found a couple guys cute, but honestly, I've never been attracted to one. What if I'm attracted to Kokichi? Would it be a bad thing?"

Kaede gave a reassuring smile. "Of course not Rantarou, love is love, no rules required. If you like a boy, who's place is it to judge? Just be you. If it makes you feel any better, I won't think of you any more or any less if you do like boys." Rantarou returned the smile. "Thanks, Kaede. Your a great listener." Kaede nodded. "Glad I could help a little."

"Oh, just one more thing." Rantarou added, Kaede hummed in response. "Still, I'm not sure if I like Kokichi or not, I want to wait it out and see what happens. But when I do get my answer, how will I tell him?" Kaede returned back to her cooking. "Well, you just have to speak from your heart. Don't be too harsh, don't be too nice." Rantarou nodded, thinking how in the hell Kaede could have all the patience in the world to listen to him ramble.
