A/N: Fuck it, I'm not doing a chapter a day. I'm really sick right now and didn't think I would upload today, but honestly, I have nothing else better to do. So, here. It kinda sucks but eh..
Have a nice day, and I hope you enjoy.

It's been pretty normal since Kokichi confessed. They've acted how they'd normally act. Of course, they found it a bit awkward when their around eachother. It caused just a little tension. Kokichi was cheery like his normal self, though it did take him a while to notice the scene that happened only a few days ago didn't faze Rantarou at all, so he was relieved.

While they were walking, having short conversations here and there, Rantarou brought up out of the blue, "Did you really mean what you said?" This made Kokichi look at him, confused. "What do you mean?" Rantarou sighed, resting his hands in his pockets. "You said you liked me, and I never knew you'd–" Kokichi cut him off, "Stoop as far as to like someone like you? Yeah, I was surprised too." He came back sharply.

Rantarou stared at him, kind of confused and surprised. He knew Kokichi got a bit mad sometimes and had random outburts, but damn, that hit him hard. Then again, it didn't make much sense. Kokichi was basically saying Rantarou wasn't his type or something, but didn't he like him? Was he lying about liking him? It wouldn't be that much of a surprise, it being Kokichi, the king of lies.

He sighed, looking down to the ground. "Yeah, I'm an asshole." He chuckled at the end of his sentence. Kokichi raised an eyebrow. "Who says?" "I says," he ended. "I replied too harsh, just saying 'I like girls,' to someone you've known your whole life is kinda a douchy move, ya know?" Rantarou smiled, but Kokichi didn't.

"Shut the hell up Rantarou Amami." He said, his voice going a very high pitch to show he was serious. "If you were an asshole I wouldn't hang around you so much. If you were an asshole I wouldn't be such an asshole to you. I'm not an asshole to assholes, they'll beat me to a pulp. But your too sweet  to do that." Kokichi said in a sing-song voice while smirking.

Rantarou huffed and rolled his eyes playfully.
Now this was better, no awkwardness and full honesty, like the way it used to be.
But more important than the riddance of awkwardness and the honesty back.

Kokichi's feelings were mutual again.

And for some reason, Rantarou didn't like that.

Why, though?
