A COOL STORY

This happened last night.

So I was watching a stream of one of my favorite poketubers JubileeBlais (go subscribe!) and she does streams every night when she goes shiny hunting. She wasn't getting any shinies so I typed in the live chat that I was gonna start an SOS chain and try to find a shiny with her. And so I went on Sun and got my SOS team (Buzzwole, Pinsir, Scyther, Absol, Alolan Marowak, and Fearow). I had to teach them Rain Dance because I was trying to chain a Politoed which only shows up in rain, at night, with a 1% chance of it appearing. Yay. Because I am too lazy to try to get one off the GTS which is filled with trolls.

Anyway! So I looked around for a Poliwag. I found one but I forgot to turn off the battle animations, so I ran away and turned off battle animations. I kept running through grass patches and I couldn't find one. Plenty of Alolan Meowths and Ariados-es and even a few Masquerains. But then...

I WAS GREETED BY A SHINY ARIADOS
I gasped and kept repeating oh my gosh. My hands shook as I kept throwing poke balls at it. It escaped dusk balls, heal balls, and timer balls, and even a crit capture heal ball. ;-; Eventually I did catch it, crit capture, in a timer ball.

I was about to name it Cotton Candy but then I had a better name...

Nature reveal!

I sighed of relief, since I didn't want it to have a quiet nature like my last Ariados. I like balancing natures, which is good.

Now this is one of my favorite shinies. Because of this, and it looks good.
Also side note- part of my reaction to it was because this was my last shiny.

Another side note- I didn't chain the Ariados, and I don't have the shiny charm (yet). That was a full odds encounter. 1/4096 boiiiis.
