Louis' POV
"That was delicious." I said as I held Alyssa's hand as we headed to the car from the restaurant.
"It was." She chuckled. "Too...Much...Food...For...This...Tummy!!!!" She giggled as she stuck out her stomach and rubbed it with her free hand. I laughed. She never really ate that much. She liked ordering from the kid's menu since the portions were smaller. I let go of her hand as I opened the door for her to get in. "Thank you, kind sir." She giggled.
I nodded as she slipped into the driver's seat. I closed the door when she was fully in the car. Then I went over to the passenger seat and let myself plop into the seat, buckling my seatbelt after I had been sure the door had closed. "Let's go!" I exclaimed as she put the keys in the ignition and we pulled out of the parking lot...
Fern's POV
"Okay, so you will be here in less than five?" I asked.
"Yes." Alyssa said on the other line.
"Okay."
"You have everything packed?" She questioned.
"I have four suit cases full!"
"Awesome. I'm sorry about the short notice of leaving early though." She explained.
"It's okay."
"You sure?"
"Yep!" I smiled as I drug my suit cases to the top of the staircase.
"Okay. We will be there in a few." She said, you could hear the excitement in her voice.
"Okay see ya." I hung up and let my iPhone slip into the pocket of my sweatpants. "Josiah! A little help here!" I called to my little brother. He skipped from the living room to where I was standing. I shoved a light suit case into his arms as he slightly tripped and had to stabalize himself on the next stair down.
"Geez, Fern!"
"Sorry, I need help!"
"Well, you could have asked nicer and not shoved the thing in my face!" He complained.
"I'm sorry!" I said.
He turned and walked down the stairs. I soon followed him, carrying two other cases full of stuff I felt I needed to take with me to England for a few weeks. I lugged them downstairs and set them by the door.
I was setting my last bag by the rest as I peeked through the small printed glass window beside the door to see Alyssa and Louis pull in the driveway. I hurried up to my room to check and see if I needed anything else...
Alyssa's POV
I parked the car and pulled the keys out of the ignition. "Let's go get Fern!" I exclaimed as I hopped out of the car. I drug Louis to the front door and I rang the doorbell. Max came to the door and peeked out the glass. The door slightly opened and his head popped up in the crack.
"Hello." he said.
"Max!!!!!" I exclaimed.
"Hi." He said.
"Max, let them in!" Fern yelled from the top of the stairs.
"FERN!!!" I yelled and barged though the door, knocking Max over and leaving Louis on the front step. I ran up the stairs and met her at the top.
She was wearing sweats and a t-shirt and her thick brown hair was up in a messy bun.
"ALY!!!" She exclaimed. We pulled each other into a hug and then held onto each others shoulders, bouncing up and down.
