Chapter 25: No Matter

Alyssa's POV

"Is there anything else?" He asked. I nodded, but I didn't want to tell him this... He sat there, staring into my eyes. Waiting for my answer.

"I-I-I... I have a heart defect..." I managed to choke out as tears filled up my eyes. Louis' face turned from confusion to worry to shock to no expression whatsoever. I bit my lip out of nervousness and trying to not let my tears fall. A tear streamed down my face. ((AND THE TEARS STREAM, DOWN MY FACE.)) Louis lifted up his hand and with the pad of his thumb, wiped the tear off my face. I let a smile show through my pain and sadness.

"No matter what is wrong with you I will always love you. No matter what we go through, I will always love you. No matter anything that happens, I will never leave you. I will be here forever." he pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead.

"Louis... You don't understand." I said, another tear coming to my eye.

"No. I don't. And I want to know more. I want to know more about you. I want to know more about your heart." he whispered into my ear.

"Now?" I asked, pulling away from his hug and looking into his eyes. He nodded. "Well... I have arrhythmias. Bradyarrhythmias. They make me pass out because if my heart beats to slow, not enough blood reaches my brain." I paused, looking down at my thumbs. I was twiddling them. "It's really scary sometimes." I sighed, remembering the last time I had one. I took a deep breath. Louis had his hand on my back and began to rub it.

"I'm sorry..." he sighed, kissing my cheek.

"It isn't your fault... I just had one the other night though... When I hung out with Fern and Kat... Yeah I had one then..." I stated.

"Does riding a plane do anything? Or like being up high?" he asked.

"Nope." I said.

"Okay..." he looked down.

"Louis...?" I said, looking at him.

"Yeah?" he asked, lifting his head to look at me.

"I love you." I smiled and kissed him passionately. He chuckled, as I pulled away and pushed him back onto the bed...

Kat's POV

I sat in the kitchen with Niall and Fern. I was eating a piece of cold pizza. Niall had his arm around my waist as we sat on bar stools. Fern stood on the other side of the bar, also eating a piece of cold pizza.

"This is delicious." Fern said, her mouth full of food.

"Don't talk with your mouth full!" I laughed when I realised I had my mouth full of food also.

"Wow!" Niall laughed.

"You know you love me." I giggled, turning and kissing him.

"I do." he smiled.

"Get a room..." Fern snickered, shoving another bite of pizza into her mouth.

Alyssa's POV

I walked out into our kitchen. Niall, Kat, and Fern were there. "Hey guys." I smiled.

"Hey!" Fern smiled.

"Hello!" Niall said.

"VAS HAPPENING, SISTA?!?" Kat exclaimed.

"Did you have to much sugar today?" I asked Kat. She nodded. "I figured." I went over to the fridge. I opened the freezer half and pulled out an ice cream cookie sandwich. It was one with chocolate chip cookies and ice cream in the middle. The whole box was mine. I wouldn't let anyone else even touch them. I opened the package and bit into it. "Yumm..." I murmured to myself with satisfaction. "What time is it?" I asked between bites.
