Chapter 13

*Paris' POV*

I woke with a pounding headache. I was back in my dark, damp room again. Oh great, I thought to myself. I looked around. It was one hell of a struggle. I noticed that the door was open, just a crack. Excitement swam threw my body. I began to stand up, but my ankles were buckled to shackles.

"God dammit," I said to myself.

"Shut up and be quiet," someone said. I immediately panicked.

A force came down on my ankles and the shackles came off. I was about to scream but, surprisingly, it didn't hurt!

"It feels soo good to have them off."

"God, you are stupid."

I took this offensively.

"Hey! That was rude!"

"Do you understand ANYTHING in the sentence 'Shut up'?"

I ignored that and asked the question that was on my mind.

"Who.. are you?"

"Ha, I'm surprised you don't recognize the voice."

I racked my brain to match the voice to the people I know. Then I got it.

"Oh my God! Hayes, is that you? What are you doing here?"

"Thank God you caught on, and I'm trying to break you out. Now, if you don't mind, will you help me over here? I'm in a bit of a hurry if you hadn't guessed."

"Oh, sorry."

I fumbled around cautiously in the dark, with my arms out in front. My hands felt something silky. Hayes' coat.

"Right, I'm here wha-"

I stared right in front of me, there was a giant hole in the wall. How had I not seen this before? Goddammit, Paris.

"I told you, Mom, I needed glasses," I muttered under my breath.

"What was that?" Hayes asked, probably confused.

My cheeks blushed bright pink. Why was I blushing?! He has a girlfriend!

"Oh nothing."

He took hold of my wrist and dragged me out of my prison cell. There was a mahosive jeep parked outside.

"Holy sh-"

Hayes started running, with my arm still in his grip which cut me off.

"Hey! Where are you going?"

Oh no.

"GET THEM!"
