Chapter 14

Paris' POV

"HAYES!!"

I felt a grip on my shoulders. I turned round to see who it was. Goddammit.

"Where do you think your off too now, hm? You do realize what that tattoo meant."

"What?" I asked, really confused.

"The skull," he said dragging me backwards.

"PARIS!"

Wait, Hayes. With all my force I got out of his grip and started running for my life (literally). God, I thought to myself, what punishment is gonna cover this now? I laughed to myself and stopped running. Good thing I was athletic. I was way ahead of them. I heard breathing behind me and spun around, giving myself a slight headache. I breathed a sigh of relief when I seen it was Hayes.

"Let's get out of here," I said, catching my breath.

But Hayes didn't move.

Hayes' POV

I couldn't believe it. She was here. Through the woods I could see a ghostly figure. Marzia. How did she find us? I thought I told her to go away. Oh no. She's getting closer.

"Hayes," a voice whispered in my ear.

"What do you want, Marzia?"

Paris started looking at me weird, but I didn't care, I was scared out of my wits right now.

"I want your soul, Hayes."

Right that's it, I was beyond creeped out now.

"JUST GO AWAY, I HATE YOU!"

"Hayes, calm down," said Paris. Oh, I forgot she was there.

"We, um, have to go Paris."

Marzia just kept staring at me with those dead, dead eyes. The people who kidnapped Paris was getting closer, so we both started to jog slowly into the forest, but I just couldn't get what Marzia said off my mind.

"I want your soul, Hayes."
