I continued to watch Vincent leave,  Watched him walk away from me briskly, leaving me behind staring, furiously, after him.

The only sound loud enough to wake me from my gaze was the bell, Informing me I was now, officially late for class. But as I turned on my heel and attempted to strut away there was a rustle, I stopped mid-step and peered down. There on my foot was a pink envelope sealed together with a simple, faded, purple heart, seal, Keeping inside whatever heart was now poured into the letter-- Every word-- Every sound your lips made when reading the words now was held secret with a beige purple sticker.

Simple, But ever so tender.

I gazed at it for a moment before I quickly bent down and retrieved the letter, My heart was in a frantic state wondering who's heart it was that I held in my hand? I flipped the note over inspecting it for a name, a signature, DNA, Anything to link me to its owner, There was nothing.

Of course, I should have known, A coward was the owner of this heartfelt letter. Only a coward wrote a letter instead of grabbing the girl of their dreams by the heart and making their head spin with words of love, Courage, and well... Being treated like an Empress. But only someone who adored this girl enough would not have been able to look into the eyes of the girl he treasures without turning scarlet and the possibility of being rejected face-to-face.

I was conflicted. Was it a Coward or a Hopeless romantic?

The Note had been sitting by my bedside desk for the past three days, Watching me, Staring at me, Prying at my temptation to open the letter.

I honestly had started to talk with the letter, I named him Ronan. If it's a girl though I decided, Lillian.

At school, I had been starting to notice my eyes drifting to the people in my grade that looked like anxiety or guilt had overtaken them. I tried to pry my eyes away but they always wandered back to the 'Unsocial's' as I had taken to calling them. The girl who never raised her hand in Pre Calc, The boy in Art who continued to stick with his headphones more than people, And the Mentally unstable kid in my History Class who tended to talk more to the wall behind him, Than real humans. To be honest these kids kinda scared me.

But it had been today that had hit me the hardest. Three days had passed and not a single speck of a clue was left for me, Whoever they were they covered their tracks. I looked at the note longingly and silently resisting the temptation slipped my hands into my pockets.

"I know what you're trying to do to me!." I shouted at the note.

It didn't reply, I sat alone, the mum room engulfing me.

I glanced at the note and let my madness slip out in a frustrated sigh.

"You know what?" I said determinedly "I'm gonna open you! I'm going to tear you to shreds! you'll never see what's coming, I'm a Cobra, I'm the Flash, I'm Katniss Everdeen!" I shouted with one last hurumph and dived for the note landing on my bed face first, The envelope successfully sat in my hands.

I felt the grin on my face as I tore it to bits wondering what could be inside, How I would finally be relieved of the suspense. By the time I looked down all that lay in my hands were a few pieces of parchment paper with words carved onto the page in blue ink. I jumped up and down on my bed excited and began to read the answer;
