Zack arrived as quickly as he could at Kaito's palace, Kaito opened the door for him, but this time he was in clothes. Kaito and Tucker were in great discomfort, and Zack wasn’t still aware of what happened. “What is it guys?” Zack asked comfortably. “We have a problem.” Tucker said dramatically. Tucker and Kaito started telling the story to Zack, who was astonished, and not totally believing their story. “You guys have got to be kidding me, right? Tell me you do, because if you are not, we really do have a situation.” Zack spoke in disbelief. Both of them stared at him, “Shit!” Zack called out. “What are we going to do?” Tucker asked in puzzlement. Zack contemplated for a while, and then looked at them intensely.
On the other hand, both agents took Clay with his handcuffs across a long hallway, and then they drifted into a side room. The room was bright, but the floor had some sticking tiny hairs settled. Soon Clay understood what he was doing here. They made him sit on an ancient leather chair, it was small, and rounded, with metal basement, it was clear that it was old due to the torn leather, and sponge appearing from underneath. A man wearing a medical glove in one hand approached Clay with a contaminated shaver, and shaved his whole face, like a new born baby. He removed all his short hair, even his growing beard was removed, he was clean-shaved.
They moved with Clay along another hallway, filled with prisons on both sides, but all prisons were empty. This hallway was longer than the other one, they walked till the end of it to find another large gate. “Wait.” One of the agents called out. “Change before you go out in the yard. Lucky you, you arrived at the break time.” The agent continued. He threw a yellow top and pants to Clay, and left. Clay changed his clothes in one of the prisons, and the other agent took his old clothes. Clay opened the gate, and entered the yard, it was a sandy ground, some benches were put on the tips of the yard. Clay went in, looking all around him at the prisoners, but he wasn’t just looking he seemed like he was searching for something.
Clay went on moving, until he approached a man sitting on one of the benches, the man’s back was Clay’s view. “Missed me?” Clay asked in sarcasm. The man tilted his neck, and then stood up, he was Victor Nate. “Well, well. Clay Thompson, the man who stole all my money and sent me to prison.” Victor started. “We should give you an appropriate greeting.” He continued. “Didn’t I tell you, we were going to meet again soon?” Victor said. “And I couldn’t have agreed more.” Clay replied immediately, with total confidence. “Hey men, remember this fella? He is the reason we are here.” Victor called out to his men, to motivate them to knock Clay out. “I think you remember who won when my people were against yours. Do you think you can handle me in a man-to-man fight?” Clay asked.
Before Victor replying, Clay opened his mouth again, “Plus, I am not here to fight you, Victor.” Clay followed up. “Then why did you come?” Victor asked fiercely. “There is a mark I forgot to leave you with.” Clay said mysteriously. Victor looked at him in confusion, he didn’t understand what he said. Clay started running towards Victor and punched him in his face. Victor kneeled and covered his face with his hand, and Clay grabbed him by his collar. Soon a lot of prisoners started circling the fight in the yard. Clay proceeded on punching Victor’s face, until he went subconscious. Clay knocked him to the ground, with all the prisoners cheering as they spectated the one-way fight.
Clay dipped his fingers in Victor’s eye, in a disgusting scene to the normal human beings, but the prisoners cheered more instead. Victor started shouting out of pain, nevertheless Clay continued. Victor started to shout more, and the blood started flooding over his face, and settling on the ground. “This is for Tucker.” Clay claimed. Soon two agents came hurrying to the yard, pushing the prisoners to create a path towards the inner circle. “What the...?” One of the agents asked, in disgust. “You haven’t completed an hour, and you already started to cause trouble.” The agent said. “Take him to solitary confinement. Three days in solitary confinement.” The agent ordered. “And take him to the nurse.” The same agent said bossily, and mercifully at the same time, referring to Victor.
The agent moved Clay harshly away from the yard, and another agent came in for Victor. The agent pulled Clay along the hallway again, and Clay wasn’t resisting, but this time they entered a narrow crypt, which they haven’t taken the last time. The crypt started getting darker as they followed in, and there was no sign of human presence. “If I were you, I would convince myself that I’m in love with this place, because you will be spending three nights alone.” The agent said. Clay walked inside the cell of the solitary confinement, and the agent locked his cell's metal door. “See ya after three days.” The agent said provocatively, and left, leaving Clay alone in that compartment.
The cell had only one narrow bed, stuck to the side of the wall, and the rest of the cell was empty. The free part of the cell, was only suitable for the stand of one person, so the cell fit him and the bed exactly. Clay threw himself on the bed, it creaked. He sat there thinking about all the possibilities, he thought about his future, about his family's future. He started asking himself questions, but he found no answer for a lot of them. He stood back up again, and pressed his head against the wall, he grinded his teeth, and compressed his head more. He was both helpless, and angry and the same time, he hit the wall with his head several times to release his stress, and control his furiousness.
He returned back to the bed, and forced himself to sleep, he didn’t have much of a choice, the choices were limited precisely in the solitary confinement. After a while of expelling the worst thoughts out hardly, he slept heavily, without being alert. Nevertheless his night was hard, he kept having nightmares on every thought that haunted him, even some ideas emerged in his nightmares, that he wasn’t aware of yet. He woke up, adjourned from one of the late nightmares he had. He sat up on the bed, breathing heavily, he couldn’t tell what time it was, but he glanced a few sun rays laying on the walls of the crypt, so he recognized that sun had rose, and it was day already, but when exactly, he never could have knew.
On the outside the weather was clear, the sun had just risen, and there was this cold breeze in the air. Clay covered his face with his hands and settled it on his knees. All of a sudden he started hearing a sound of a helicopter, he was sure it was a helicopter, he was familiar with it's noisy voice. This helicopter had Tucker, Kaito and Zack in it. Zack was the one driving the helicopter, with the ear plugs in his ears. Clay had no idea it was them, he couldn’t see the helicopter, but as soon as he heard the sound, he raised his head back up again. He smiled.
