Chapter 6

I'm kinda loosing ideas for this book but I'm trying to continue it, I promise.

Btw, it's always gonna be Tae's POV.

I walk down the stairs and I see Namjoon lifting up the couch with one hand trying to find something. I sigh and scratch the back of my neck.

Once I feel as though it's bare, I start to panick. It's not there. It's not freaken there. How could I misplace it? Where would it be?

"Namjoon hyung." I speak and he drops the couch looking at me confused, "Have you seen my.. my amulet?" He tilts his head and looks down to my neck. His eyes widen, "Tae, where did you leave it?!"

"I don't know, hyung! The last time I saw it was when I put it down on my bedside table while Yoongi hyung was there. I took a shower before that." I explained. "Tae, call Yoongi." He says and I widen my eyes. "Wait, what time is it?!" I ask and he rolls his eyes. "5:55?" He replies and my eyes widen. "I have to meet Yoongi hyung at the cafe! I'll ask him there." I say sprinting to put my shoes on.

"A date, I presume?" Namjoon says smugly and I slap him playfully before rushing out the door towards the cafe near our school.

I walk into the cafe hearing the door ring as I enter and quickly order my favorite drink from the cafe lady. I look around after and see a blond haired boy using his firing and staring at it. I walk over to him and sit in front waiting for him to notice me. He continues to stare at the fire he created in his hand.

"Why don't fire and water mix?" He whispers and I remove my cup of coffee from my lips with a confused face. Why would he be asking this?

"Why does fire like water?" He states and now I'm even more confused. Does he mean he likes me? My face flushes at this, but he speaks again pullimg me out of my thoughts. He puts his hand on a the table and takes it off. Revealing a glowing blue crystal amulet. I immediately take it because it was mine. I wear in and sigh as Yoongi looks at me.

"What is it?" Yoongi asks resting his chin on his hands. "It's none of your business." I said quietly. "Tae, are you really just another person who has powers or spells like the rest of us?" The question made me pause for a moment. I looked up, "Again, it's not any of your business. Why'd you call me here?" I ask and he ruffles his hair, "To return that. So, the least you could do is explain to me what 'that' is." He says in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Hyung, my parents were evil." I say and he nods, "Really really evil. They would abuse me and Namjoon. Steal from other people. Even kill.." Yoongi looks up at me worried. "T-This amulet was given to me by my grandmother. To help me not to turn evil, again." I finally say. "What do you mean 'again'?" He asks and I sigh in response, "I.. killed my mother." I admit after all these years. "Tae, I'm so sorry."

"It's no problem. It already happened and that's the past. Anyways, let's move on please." I say wiping away tears that fell.

"Let's do the project here instead, okay?" He asks and. I nod in response not really caring or paying attention either.

'I just told Min Yoongi my past. My biggest secret. Why do I feel so comfortable around him?'
