Chapter 32

Desiree Kamel's POV

"We'll just find the baby's heartbeat and then I'll pull the picture up on the screen.", the doctor said, rolling the remote thing on my stomach.

I squeezed Jacob's hand as she took her time. Suddenly I could hear the thumping of three different heart beats.

"Oh wow. We have a rhythm going on.", she smiled, pushing the on button on the monitor.

My eyes went wide as I saw two small blobs on the screen.

"Ok so something's missing here.", Doctor Tristan said, furrowing her brow in concentration.

"Wait, there's two?", I said, sitting up a little.

Jacob pushed my shoulders down and started rubbing me back to soothe me.

"Nope. Looks like we have a little baby hiding somewhere in there. This mommy right here is having triplets!", Suzanne grinned, running a scan off of the monitor.

My eyes got big and I had a huge grin on my face. Of all the miracles in the world, I get to have three amazing babies with an amazing man. I turned to look at Jacob with satisfaction only to see him hyperventilating in the corner.

"Congrats!", said the nurse who helped me clean up.

"Oh my god baby.... Our babies are so cute!", I gushed, looking down at the sonogram of my beautiful triplets.

The fact that I'm going to give birth to three babies, especially since this is my first pregnancy, hasn't really set in yet. I mean I'm extremely happy and lucky to have a man like Jacob to help, but the thought of me not being a trained mom and giving birth to three babies on the first try scares me a little.

A chill ran up my spine and Jacob rubbed his thumb over the hand as he drove home with a smile.

"How do you feel about having triplets baby?", I said softly, looking over at Jacob.

"I mean, having three babies is a lot of work.... And the fact that we have never had kids before, you know..... It's a little scary. But baby.... You will make a terrific mom and I love you with everything in me so I know we can do this.... Together.", he smiled, kissing my hand.

I blushed and smiled back at him.

"Together.", I repeated.

Even now, being together for such a long time, he still sends me on cloud nine just with his smile. He's everything I need in life. He helps me everyday and he's like a breath of fresh air... A breath of really sexy, fresh air.

"So know all we have to worry about is the wedding and finding a bigger house...", Jacob said, turning down our street.

"Why did you say it like it was no big deal?", I said shocked.

"Because I don't know.", he shrugged.

"Well we could just clear a room for the babies to share since they don't need their own rooms..... Then we can have money saved for the wedding after I give birth. And we don't want to have to buy cheap stuff for the babies. I want to be able to get quality diapers and good things for my babies. And three babies mean three times as much stuff as needed before."

"Yepp...", he sighed out loud, pulling into the driveway.

"It will be fine baby.", I said, taking his hand when the car was off.

"I know baby.... I just hope this is gonna work out."

"It will."

He smiled and pecked my lips before climbing out the car. Within seconds, he was at my door, taking my hand and helping me out the car.

All of a sudden, I realized that it seems like my stomach was growing by the second. It was like two round, medium sized watermelons. Not too too big but pretty big for being only halfway into the pregnant.

But soon it will be the size of a Chinese buffet all together. Mmm.... Chinese.

"Babe, why are you drooling?", Jacob asked, wiping my chin with a paper towel while he helped me sit on the couch.

"I want Chinese food!", I blurted out.

"Uh-baby, that's not healthy food."

"But I want Chinese food Jaaacoobbb!!", I whined, poking my lip out in a pout.

"But baby that food is not healthy for you and the babies....", he whispered, rubbing my arm.

"Gosh Jacob.... I'm gonna be carrying these babies in me for NINE F-IN MONTHS AND ALL I WANT IS SOME DAMN CHINESE FOOD!!! JUST ONCE JACOB!!!! Gosh......", I screamed, bursting out in tears.

"Ok. Ok baby. I'm sorry. I'll go get you Chinese. Right now! I'll be back.", he whined, getting up and leaving.

"Thanks baby but if we are gonna bring triplets into this world your gonna need to toughen up.", I said, grinning and turning to Jacob.

"I am too tough!", he said, looking at me bewildered.

I raised an eyebrow and he just rolled his eyes. I let out a sigh and leaned back on the couch, patting my full stomach.

"I'll show you baby... You'll find out soon.", he whispered in a devil like voice.

"Ok. Can't wait.", I said, flipping through the tv channels.
