Someone New

Update

I wanted to throw a quick update in here for everybody. I know I'm not like a lot of the YA/ChickLit/TeenFic writers on here, inasmuch as I don't add blurbs before or after my chapters. I always appreciate them on other stories, but I'm just not great at updates, I guess.

Which leads me to my point: You deserve an update! And to prove I'm not an emotionless robot of a writer, I am granting it now.

1. A lot is about to happen with Lexi and Misha. We're over halfway through, and much more is still to come. Hold on tight, and always feel free to throw any suggestions/ideas/thoughts/reactions my way. You never know, I may use them!

2. I struggle with generalized anxiety disorder, which sometimes makes it hard for me to give you guys consistent updates. That being said, chapter fifteen is actively being composed right now, I just can't promise how quickly it will be posted.

3. To mooch off of #2, I'm having a bad week, so I'm not posting chapter fifteen today (or probably tomorrow, either). Instead, I'm going to be trying to find some media/banners for the story, so there's some sort of visual for each individual chapter. If you want to send me any, I would absolutely love to receive and use them! My email is rachsolis20(at)gmail.com. This damn computer apparently hates the "at" symbol - sorry!

4. I'm also working on a playlist for Someone New. The playlist is something I want your opinions on - would you rather see a complete list for the entire story, or a couple of songs for each individual chapter? I can do it either way, but let me know so I can decide how many songs to include!

5. I'm so, so, so happy that we've reached over 1100 views. You have no idea what this means to me. I never thought something as simple as the words formed in my brain would reach so far. I am so grateful to all of you, and I just want you to know that.

So, to summarize - I'm going really slow, but I'll get there. Please send me as much feedback as possible, because I want this story to speak to you in whatever way it can. Also, don't be alarmed if you receive notification of each individual chapter being published - this just means I've added a banner or media to it.
