The emotions I carry and all that I bear
I feel for everyone it's all I can share.
I smile, I care, for me it's so rare.
A reflection of a dream I hope to be true
We'll get there as a team for me and for you.
Except, no one stays.
I'm always alone no matter how hard I try.
I think, "maybe this guy will stay by my side" ,
But In the end I'm alone looking at that dark, lonely sky.
Yet I still search for that one companion
I think I'd have better luck jumping into the grand canyon.
The edge never comes near as I shuffle my feet praying with fear.
I can't give up what I tried so hard to build here.
