Disaster or a midnight lullaby (TMNT Leo fanfic)

Crows and ravens

This was totally nuts. I'm gonna lose my shell if we don't get to the bottom of this. I stretched out my arms making a "T" shape and then popped my knuckles hoping to release,my beast. Sweat and pain went into this but I just can't fight it anymore.
"Haaaaaaaaaaa....."
I smirk to myself after what seems to be minutes past by of nothing but silence.
I take a peek and-
Swack!
"Ouch!" I whine dang it. I took my leave from what once made up the triangle of meditation. How can Donnie and Raph sit there for so long?
I began to growl at myself. Everyone was improving with meditation while I am still struggling with just sitting still.
    Donnie and Raph continued till i came up with my master piece. I smirked when everything was arranged perfectly. Now all I had to do was wait for them to move.
I sighed as Leo slowly peeked in for around the cave's bend. I quickly touched my finger to my mouth and gave a silent laugh. He just stared at them and waited until they moved.
Raph sighed leaning his head back onto donnie's shoulder and growled, " what the shell are we doing? I mean I have yet to see anything or feel relaxed from this crap."
A smirk appeared on Donnie's face, " so are you saying that you lose to me just because you can't see anything?"
A low snarl followed, " yeah and? So what if I can't see? Screw this meditation garbage it never worked for me anyway." He stood up only to be greeted with a small thin thread tickling his nasal area. Before Donnie could say anything Raph yanked down on twine causing a chain reaction. Mikey was smiling to the point his face was hurting from the anticipation.
The small yank caused a small marble to begin rolling along a track that then ran along the cave wall knocking just the tip of a set of dominos falling toward the two brothers who now were starring at the tiny movement. Leo shook his head knowing what was to come and to say it nicely Raph and Don are not going to let this go without payback.
As the dominos came to an end the last domino hit a small toy car sending it along a track that hit a small piece of wood which held a bucket above the purple and red masked. As the metal bucket fell toward them small water balloons tumbled out along with a second bucket which was held upright until the first was emptied. This smaller red bucket however held flour and some smaller water balloons but these balloons had food coloring mixed into the water.
Splash, crash, and sploosh. The deed had been done. Mikey was a giggling mess. Raph and Don was a sopping wet floury glob.
Steam was erupting from Raph's head and Donnie was seeking out Mikey like a tiger seeks out it's next meal.
I was laughing only to feel a cold and uninviting presence grip my arms from behind.
"Enjoying yourself Leonardo?" It's low vocal pitch left my body in horror. I straightened up my shell only to sense it was now holding my shoulder that once had been bruised. Icy fingers rested on it like a perch for a falcon or other dangerous bird of prey.
I could still hear the guys yelling at Mikey as he raced away throwing more balloons at Raph and Don. The dark creature smiled a needle toothed grin," do you want to protect them dear Leo?"
I groaned, " you already know my answer. What do you want from me? It's bad enough that you guys won't let me sleep in peace anymore. What more could you-"
His hands tightened on my shoulder activating my nerves to send distress signals.
"We don't like to be ignored. We perfer when others listen to what we say before deciding what they should do. You need to hear us."
A warm hand gripped my right arm shaking me from his grasp.
"Leo? Hey what's wrong?"
I couldn't find the words but the beast showed his true form. A very disfigured crow with it's blood dripping from it's neck along with his dark brown eyes that,seemed to look deep into you. Wings that were arched in ways they shouldn't be and limps with feathers leaking everywhere.
My once green face lost all color and I institively covered my mouth as if I was going to throw up what contents remained in my stomach.
"Leo! Leo! Don help! Something's wrong!" I groaned and whinned twisting away from the gore that lay in my field of vision. Raph's knuckles turned white as I turned trying to get rid of the foul but Raph's hands stopped me from looking away.
With a single parting gesture the beast bent down at his waist and whispered, " death is my master."
" SNAP OUT OF IT!" a harsh sting was felt on my left cheek and my arms grappled the closest thing pinning it to the cool cave soil.
As I peered down my eye locked with yellow and red. Raph's hands had let go of me and he held them up to defend me if I were to follow through with more force. Pushing back with my legs I pulled him back to his feet as I backed away and tensed up.
Mikey peeked round, " um did- did I miss something?" His tone was of wonder and confusion.
Donnie glared at Raph but slowly approached me making an attempt to calm the strange situation.
"Easy Leo. I don't know what just happened but just try to calm your breathing," he gently touched my forehead and took my pulse as Raph moved his body toward the cave entrance. Even with the flour mess he still had tried to break the illusion. Donnie sighed telling Mikey to keep and eye on me while he and Raph went to clean off what they could.
I wanted want to say something but the words never came except five.
"What is wrong with me?"
