Yesterday I found myself waking up in Champ's bed. Champ was only wearing shorts and his bare skin was exposed, he had an expensive pair of underwear on. Champ's skin was glowing, from the sunlight, giving him a slight tan.
I got up to make myself some breakfast to find that Champ doesn't have much food. All I found was a bottle of milk and a salad dish, they were just sitting there in his kitchen. I decided that Champ's place needed more food in his fridge, because it seems that Champ is too lazy to get some. That then gave me an idea to make a list. That morning I exactly did so, I put the list on a table down stair in Shorty's. I then told Champ if he wanted something he could just dot it down so that I could get it. I added some items of my own that I wanted to get at the shops on it.
Purgatory wasn't known for having the best shops around. Also, Purgatory wasn't exactly the friendliest place, to find people. I took the list
to see what Champ had put down. I then read it, it said, " Watermelon, rice, eggs , milk, butter and (condoms) "
I looked at it and yelled, " CONDOMS, REALLY CHAMP?"
I didn't get an answer seems like he went back to sleep.
The thing is that Champ and I have been together for 4 months now and we still haven't had, you know (sex). I just wanted the first time to be as great as imagined. He was my first and only boyfriend that I have had.
I then put the list into my left pocket before disappearing to a train station that was close by. When I arrived at the train station it said I had to wait 10 minutes, it came to my attention that the train was running late by an extra 5 minutes. When the train arrived, it had stopped 6 times before it was my stop.
I hopped off at my stop and entered the grocery store. I took a basket from a shelf, that was hanging above my head. First, I had headed to the fruit section. I got a watermelon and checked it off the list, then approached a different section to find the rice. When I found the rice, it was in a pretty high place. I went on my tippy toes to try and reach it. I apparently went too high and found myself falling over. I heard someone from behind yell the word, "Ouch"
I turned around quickly and shouted,"SHIT" who did I accidentally hit? It's a Purgatory police officer. I said, "Sorry" in an apologetic tone.
She looked down upon me and smiled. I asked if she could reach the rice, cause she's quite tall. She agreed, in one swish motion she grabbed the rice and handed it to me, saying "Here you go". I thanked her, she then opened her mouth to speak she said," You must be Waverly Earp?"
" How do you know my name?" I questioned
" I hear a lot of people saying your name around, you seem to be quite the gossip". She giggled.
" Is that so?" I asked. I have seen police officers around here before, but not this one, she actually seemed nice.
" Yeah, people keep mentioning your name" she said.
" I'm Officer Nicole Haught, I just moved here from the big city." She said in a greeting tone. She raised a hand to properly greet me and I held my hand to shake it.
" Nice to meet you Officer Haught" I said greeting her.
" Are you interested in getting a cup of coffee this afternoon?" She questioned
I hesitated at the question, " Umm, yeah I would love to..., like to...., but I can't, I'm dating a boy, man" I replied
" A boy-man?" She giggled
" Well, then another time?" She said, then handing a card that read "Officer Haught and it included her phone number".
She smiled and started to walk away.
I finished up my shopping and couldn't stop thinking about her.
I returned to Champ's apartment just in time to greet him, I kissed him on the cheek, before he headed out to the gym. I decided attempt to text the officer from earlier.

NH: Who dis? -12:31 pm
WE: Waverly Earp -2:31 pm
NH: Oh hey, so what made you decide to text me? -2:33 pm
WE: I don't know? Well my boyfriend is out at the gym. -2:37 pm
NH: Oh okay, do you want to meet up to have coffee? -2:37 pm
WE: Sure why not, it's not like Champ is coming back anytime soon. -2:39 pm
NH: Okay brilliant, meet me at the train station at 3:30pm? 2:41 pm
WE: Sounds like fun :) 2:41 pm
