I woke up to the sound of a truck pulling up at the driveway next door. It was so unexpected, I've never really had any neighbours. Athough there was a time when I had an older woman living next door, but she moved out around two years ago. Her name was Polly Mc-Dove she was a nice woman but was too old to live on her own. Her partner died of cancer it was very sad she allowed me to attend his funeral, because she didn't have many close friends. After she then had to move to a nursing home that was close by.
I then heard two young voices coming from outside. I walked closer to my window and took a peak to see who they were. I was right, outside was two young women around the age 20. They looked like sisters, very similar in the way they looked. They both had long dark brown hair, both were pale and at the end of their hair was dyed a different colour. One of them had yellowish-gold at the end and the other had pink, but the dyed didn't cover the whole of their head, but instead was only half way.
The girl with the yellow tipped dyed hair grab the hand of the other girl and kissed her on the cheek. At first i was like okay they are just very close, until I witnessed the girl with the pink dye in her hair, kiss the other girl on the lips. That's when I realised that they weren't sisters but girlfriends. All I could think was that it was so adorable, it's about time we have more friends that were lesbians.
I tipped over to Waverly still in my bed sleeping, when I got close enough to her I shook her to wake her up. "Hey, Waverly wake up, I have something to tell you" I whispered to her ear. "Yes?" she said while trying to yawn at the same time. " I think we have new neighbours" I said quietly trying not to startle her because she was still waking up. She sat up and said "Really?" she looke really suprised. "Yeah, I saw a moving truck pull up at the driveway next door. "Why are you shocked though?" I questioned her while tilting my head to one side. "Because I remember you telling me that you haven't had a neighbour next door since that lady old moved out" she said. "What was the lady's name again?" she asked curiously. "Her name was Polly Mc-Dove" I explained. "Well do you want to meet the new neighbours today" she said. "Yes, It's always nice to meet new people every one and while" I said excited.
We both agreed to go meet the new neighbours, I got up and brushed my teeth, had a shower, ate breakfest, got dressed and did my hair, Waverly did the same. When we were ready we headed to the door, when I opened it. I was strucked to see that there wasn't any moving trucks. Was I wrong about the new neighbours this whole time? I'm just joking with you readers. A new truck pulled up with more of their stuff loaded in it. But where on earth are the neighbours, oh wait they're just chilling in their new house.
I grabbed Waverly's hand and proceeded to walk over to their front door, I knocked on it and they answered it right way. I just stared at the two beatiful women standing before me. Waverly introduced herself first. "Hey, my name is Waverly Earp and this is my (girl)friend Nicole Haught" she said. I just gave her a death stare glance, but in my head I was like UMMM WHAT?!?! did she just introduce me as her friend, for goodness sakes Waverly I'm your girlfriend and I would like to be introduced as your girlfriend. "Hey, I'm Stevie Boebi and this is my gorgeous girlfriend Ally Hills" replied the girl with the pink dyed hair. "Oh, so I see that you guys are a couple" I said looking interested in their relationship. "Yeah, we are and have been for the past 6 months" she said. "Well what my (girl)friend was meant to say was that we were dating too, and we have for the past 2 months" I explained. "Oh, what a coincidence that we are both are dating girls, that makes me more comfortable" She replied. " If you guys need anything don't be afraid to talk to us about anything" Waverly said. "Thank you, we will talk to you guys if we are having trouble settling in" said Ally, she started to shake our hands.
I looked at Waverly who was still talking to Ally and Stevie, I nudged Waverly to get her attention. She briefly looked at me then went back to talking to them. I then tried tapping her shouder but that didn't work either. So, I thought for a few seconds and came up with an idea, I put my hands on Waverly's shouders and turned her towards me a then kissed her into a passionate kiss. She then deepened the kiss and I allowed her to do so. After I had done that I just looked at Stevie and Ally who were just staring, I then turned back to stare at Waverly who looked at me with hearts in her eyes. I'm so lucky that I get to call her my bestfriend but even more lucky that I get to call her my girlfriend.
"I think we should head off, maybe this week we can catchup?" I said. "Yeah that would be a great idea" Ally responded. We said our goodbyes to Stevie and Ally, Waverly grabbed a hold of my hand and we started to walk towards my house. I stopped at the front door and struggled to get my keys from my pocket. When I opened the door I when to kitchen to make lunch for Waverly and me.
