*400 years later*

"You want to become an artist." I walked up to the middle of the crossroads to the human that was shaking. I took my hood down to reveal my red eyes before they flashed to a sparkling blue. The cool night air blew through my hair. The man was probably in his thirties. Though I never pay much attention. "Hurry up. A crossroads demon is busy." I pretended to be interested in my nails. These deals were a bore to me.

"I want to be a famous artist."

"No no no." I waved my finger teasingly in front of the man's face. "That's two. You can only pick one. Talent or fame or fortune."

"Can you see into my future?" I rolled my eyes, shoving one of my hands in the pocket of my tight jeans. My eyes flashed in anger.

"I'm not a fucking common physic!" I put my hand on my hip that was jutted out. "I can't see until your decision is made."

"What would I get in this deal?" He's more cautious than most, I'd give him that. I looked over his body to find out his name.

"You would get ten years with what you desire before someone comes for you. Then a nice kiss to make the deal official." I took a step forward, cupping the man's cheek in my hand. He shifted uncomfortably. "So what is it Rick Gately? Fame or Talent?" He looked surprised as I said his name.

"Does it have to be a kiss?" I felt the smile twitch at the corner of my lips.

"I'm afraid so."

"Talent. I want talent." I leaned down to press my lips against his, feeling him move uncomfortably. I smirked as I pulled away. I threw my hood back up. I cringed at this uncontrollable itching in my head.

"Should have picked fame. See you in ten years." I laughed at the horror that etched on his face at my words. Before I could tease him anymore on the subject, I was hurled somewhere else as a person's voice entered my mind. They were speaking Latin. Very shitting Latin that was a summoning spell.

"....daemon." I stood up from my spot on the floor. I heard a crash. The human that had summoned me had tripped, taking the picture frames down with him.

"Shit. I forgot to erase that guy's memory." I always erase the memory of my face from the minds of my deals.

"Holy fuck, it worked." The human whispered as he got up from where he sat on the ground. I tried to take a step forward but I was rooted to the spot. I looked down at the ground.

"Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" My voice raised halfway through my sentence. "A god damn devils trap."

"I did my research." There was a proudness to his voice. I was looking for any flaw in what was holding me. When I made my red eyes meet his, I could tell how frightened he was. It was kind of sexy though. I mean he was gorgeous. He had brown short hair, styled to the side. He had deep brown eyes that were framed by his long lashes then a scruff on his chin that outlined his plump lips. He was, from my view, only a little more than skin and bones. "I demand you save my sister." I blinked so my blue eyes were scanning over him.

"Demand? You're not the one with power here."

"I could leave you." I laughed, discretely looking over his body to find his name. I came up with a blank. I couldn't read his name.

"Does it look like I work alone?" He walked up to the side of the trap.

"They'll never find you." I moved so I was directly in front of him. Though I couldn't reach out to touch him. "I just want my sister back to health."
