10:00PM

Screams of the defenceless male echoed throughout the small alleyway as they bounced off the walls, ringing through Doyoung's ears. He could hear the pain and fear in his voice and it made him uneasy as his heart thumped against his chest.

The purple haired male shook his head as he inhaled sharply, mentally dreading his every action. He wanted badly to help this boy, he didn't want to hurt him and instead wanted to just steal the gun that Taeyong held with his long slender fingers and shoot everyone as he ran off with him and saved his life.

But he couldn't.

With a deep breath, Doyoung rose his metal bat that glistened in the streetlights before slamming it down into the young males head making a scream of agony fall from his lips. With a few more hits the boys eyes began to close with his consciousness slowly slipping away from him as tears dripped down his pale cheeks.

"Good job D." Yuta said as his raspy deep voice sent chills down Doyoung's spine.

Doyoung rolled his eyes as he dropped his bat making it clink against the hard pavement that he stood on as he walked out of the alley.

"Doyoung hold up!" Someone from behind him said, stopping him in his tracks.

It was Jung Jaehyun, one of the members of their gang that Doyoung didn't think belonged. Jaehyun had soft silky brown hair and two sparkly chocolate brown eyes that lit up whenever he smiled, which created two cute dimples on either side of his plump lips. Jaehyun really was the cutest guy Doyoung had seen.

"Where you going? Stay! We're headed to get some sushi!" Jaehyun said happily with his cute smile as two dimples formed on his lower cheeks. How could someone be so happy after watching someone else get beat up? Doyoung sighed and shook his head as he looked up at Jaehyun.

"Sorry Jae, I'm busy tonight." Doyoung said before he waved to the group and left. Doyoung didn't really have any plans that night, but he just wanted to get away from everyone and clear his mind.

Doyoung walked through the streets of Seoul as he stared down at his shadow casted by the moonlight above him, with silence surrounding him, just the way he liked it. With his hands shoved into his pockets and a few strands of his hair messily blocking his vision as they hung down into his eyes, Doyoung let out a sigh as he looked up at the moon.

Doyoung had always wanted to study astrology. It amazed him what was up there in the sky, and beyond it in the dark quiet voids of space. Doyoung loved the beauty of the stars and visible galaxies on dark nights, but there was one thing that he especially loved more than anything...

The moon.

Doyoung continued walking before reaching his apartment, hands shuffling in his pockets as he searched for his keys.

"Where the-"

Doyoung narrowed his eyebrows as he continued searching, taking off his leather jacket as he checked through every pocket. Doyoung groaned after realizing that he had lost them, and turned around as he made his way to the front desk.

"Kim Doyoung! How are you?" A young blonde female said as she gleamed with excitement seeing Doyoung.

"Hi Lisa. I think I lost my keys for my room, think you could help me out?" Doyoung said as he leaned an elbow onto the counter.

"Anything for you Doyoung!" Lisa said as she turned around and shuffled through some drawers.

"Um... excuse me..." A quiet shy voice said from behind Doyoung as he turned around. Doyoung's eyes landed on a short boy with brown hair and a cute baby face as he looked up at him with innocent eyes.

Doyoung moved to the side as the boy walked up to the counter and stood on his tippy toes. Doyoung chuckled softly while watching him, his eyes scanning down the boys body as he looked at him.

"Here you go Doyoung" Lisa said as she handed Doyoung a key from over the counter. "Hi, oh you must be Taeil!" Lisa stated as she greeted him warmly with a smile.

"Yes. I'm the new resident here." Taeil said as a smile grew across his face. Doyoung couldn't help but stare at the younger boy, there was something about him that caught Doyoung's attention and he found that he couldn't take his eyes off of him.

"Well this is funny, Taeil your room is actually right beside Doyoung's!" Lisa said as she looked over a few sheets of paper that were attached to a clipboard.

Doyoung waved to Lisa before walking towards the elevators and waiting for one to arrive. Doyoung picked at his fingernails as he played with the key in his other hand, twisting and spinning in before a he heard a ding indicating that the elevator had come.

Doyoung stepped inside as he turned to press the number of his floor before the doors closed slightly and opened again suddenly when a quiet yelp caught his attention. Doyoung turned to see the small boy Taeil stuck between the doors as they started to slowly reopen. Doyoung quickly pressed the open button on the panel of numbers and symbols as his eyes flickered back over to the short boy who bowed and mumbled a "thank you" as he entered the elevator and stood beside him.

The two stood silently together as they awaited their arrival to the eleventh floor, Taeil fiddling with his fingers and his head down as Doyoung stood tall and straight with his hands resting inside of his pockets again, watching the numbers on the screen above him change every few seconds as the elevator got higher and higher.

After a few seconds the metal doors slid open revealing a long narrow hallway of wooden doors spaced evenly between each other, where Doyoung walked out as he made his way to his room. Taeil followed silently behind him since his room was right beside his as he looked around at all of the others.

Doyoung stopped at his door getting out his key as he stook it into the hole of his doorknob, when Taeil accidentally bumped into him as he continued walking with his eyes wandering throughout the hall not noticing that Doyoung had stopped.

"Oh s-sorry..." Taeil mumbled as he looked up at Doyoung and backed up to where his room door was. Taeil fumbled with his keys in his hands as he tried to open his door, sighing when he unsuccessfully did so and dropped his keys on the carpet floor.

Taeil bent down on his knees to grab his keys when he gasped in shock as two hands from beside him took them instead, his head tilting up as his brown eyes met Doyoung's dark ones. Doyoung stood up as he took out the key to Taeils room and stuck into the keyhole twisting it, and opening his door.

"Th-Thank you." Taeil said as he bowed and removed his key from the door. Doyoung nodded without saying anything as he turned back to his room, but was cut off by entering from the small boys voice.

"Um, Doyoung... right?" Taeil said as he looked up at Doyoung.

"Yeah." Doyoung replied as he leaned his body against the frame of his door.

"Oh, well thanks. I'm Taeil, but... you probably already knew that..." Taeil said shyly as he scratched the back of his neck with his eyes on the floor.

Doyoung chuckled as he looked down at Taeil. "You're cute." Doyoung said before entering his room and closing the door behind him. Taeil stood still frozen in place as his eyes stayed glued to Doyoung's door.

"C-Cute?" Taeil mumbled as he grew flustered.
