Throughout the night Doyoung turned and stirred in his bed for hours, unable to get any sleep. Around three am, he let out a sigh as he laid on his back with his head propped up on his pillow, staring at the ceiling. He couldn't get the brown haired boy off his mind, and it was keeping him up.
Doyoung slowly rose up out of bed as he made his way to his kitchen and searched around his messy drawers before pulling out a container of sleeping pills. Doyoung then grabbed a glass and filled it half way with water before swallowing down a pill and heading back to bed. Doyoung pulled the silky covers up to his neck leaving just his head pocking out as he closed his eyes and fell alseep.
Meanwhile in the room beside him, Taeil was struggling to sleep as well with his head hanging off the edge of his new white and grey bed. Taeils legs were sprawled out across the bed with one arm across his face as the other hung off the bed. He laid in this position for a while before letting out a sigh and sitting up cross legged in the middle of his bed with his elbows resting on his knees as he stared at the wall in front of him.
Doyoung's voice echoed through Taeils head, his words replaying in his mind as a tingle of excitement rushed through him every time he thought of what the handsome boy said to him.
"You're cute..."
Taeil giggled cutely as a small smile grew
across his face, his cheeks rising as his cheekbones were emphasized under his pale skin that began to turn red from him blushing at the thought of Doyoung."Oh come on Taeil snap out of it..." Taeil mumbled to himself as he inhaled deeply before slumping his body back down into bed with his covers thrown on the ground.
7:00 AM
Doyoung groaned as his alarm clock rang through his ears, his arm reaching out of his bed and over to his night table as he tried smacking the snooze button. The alarm clock kept buzzing, irritating Doyoung until he yanked the clock right out of the wall, with the plug dangling from the bottom.
Doyoung hated waking up so early. He definitely wasn't a morning person and always woke up with little to no energy at all. Doyoung stretched his arms out above his head as he let out a yawn and headed to his kitchen. He got himself a cup of coffee before making his way to his washroom to take a shower.
Once Doyoung was all ready he headed out of his room wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a plain white shirt underneath a jean jacket. Doyoung stopped near the elevator as he waited for it to arrive, just as he did so hearing footsteps coming towards him. Doyoung turned around as his eyes landed on the small boy from last night, Taeil.
Taeil looked up at him with wide eyes as his blood ran cold. He looked around and then ran down the hall just as the elevator doors opened, leaving Doyoung confused as he rose a brow. Doyoung stood still as he watched Taeil run down the hall before shrugging his shoulders and entering the elevator. He wondered if maybe he had scared Taeil, making guilt bite at him as he slowly made his way downstairs in the elevator.
Once Doyoung left the building he met up with a few of his gang members at a nearby café.
"D! Over here!" One of the members Johnny said as he waved for Doyoung to join them. Doyoung sat down in a chair next to the window as he greeted his members.
"Okay so we might finally know who stole the money." Yuta said as he intertwined his fingers on the table in front of him. Yuta looked over at Taeyong who took a sip of a can of soda before looking back at Doyoung.
"We reviewed some of the camera footage from the other night and caught the license plate of whoever it was." Taeyong stated as he crushed the can in his hands and leaned forwards.
"Now we just have to find them."
Taeyong was always one of the scariest members to Doyoung which was odd because he was usually very charming with his cute smile and beautiful eyes and could be extremely nice, but of course only to people who didn't steal his money.
The small group stayed seated and remained chatting for a while before they all left and Doyoung headed to work. He had a job of working at a Starbucks near his apartment, which was handy since he didn't have to travel too far to work, and he also got discounts for drinks which he loved ever since he was a kid.
One thing he didn't always love was dealing with the costumers. A lot of people could be rude and very demanding, which pushed Doyoung since he had a very short temper, and he had come close to hitting a few costumers at times.
"Thank you!" Doyoung said sarcastically as he handed a cappuccino to an angry customer before rolling his eyes. Doyoung looked around and noticed that there were no more customers around and quickly got out his phone as he started playing a game.
After a few minutes the door opened but Doyoung was too sucked into his game to notice, before a quiet voice said, "One pumpkin spice latte please."
Doyoung rose his eyes above his phone as they grew big when he saw who was standing in front of him. It was the boy from next door to him. He had been shuffling through his backpack and didn't notice Doyoung awkwardly staring at him until he got his phone out and looked up at him, his heart dropping into his chest as he gulped.
"Oh h-hi..." Taeil stuttered as he waved at Doyoung.
"Hi" Doyoung said as the two stared at each other for a few seconds.
"Um... What was it you wanted? A pumpkin spice latte?" Doyoung asked, breaking the silence that had formed between them. Taeil nodded his head shyly as he looked down as Doyoung got his drink ready.
