"Okay. I got potstickers, pizza is on its way. James?"
"We have coke, root beer, and of course wine."
"And I've got the whole Star Wars box set, all the Harry Potter movies, I also brought a few video games just in case."
"You guys didn't have to do this..."
"Yes, Winn we did. We have to celebrate!"
"Winn, this my not seem like a
big deal for you. But we've all miss you. And don't say 'yOu cOuldVe viSteD' because the past few weeks, it wasn't you. It was someone completely different. This is you." Kara said sitting down on Winn's couch, next to Winn, giving him a side hug and laying her head on his shoulder.
He just smiled and accepted all the food they brought.
Alex, James, Kara, and J'onn had all come over to celebrate Winn finally finishing his last psychology appointment. He was normal again. He was on medication, but he was Winn.
He thought this celebration wasn't necessary but his friends insisted. They all sat down. Kara nestled into Winn, James beside them, J'onn was in the arm chair and Alex was on the floor. They all sat in silence watching the movie, and eating all their snacks.
About 1/3 through the movie Kara whispered to Winn
"I missed you.."
Winn just looked at her, realizing what Kara must've felt when he was going insane. He just smiled at her and pulled her closer to him. He missed her too. He missed all of them. He knew as long as he had them, he would never turn into his father.
