I started walking and took all kinds of streets that I somewhat knew. Each street brought me to a new one so I tried to recognize my surroundings. I made it to a busy street; it was so busy it could have been a highway. I walked along the cars making sure I wouldn't get hit, but at this point I wouldn't really even care anymore if I did. Finally a shopping center came into view and I wanted to get something to drink, so I headed that way. Once I made it to the center I saw a 7 Eleven and went in. I grabbed an ultra-red monster, and walked to the counter to pay. After I paid I started walking the direction I was walking before. I still had no clue where I was going, but I just had to go.
About an hour later of still walking I finished my monster, I tossed it to the side of the road listening to the little clanks and clacks of the empty can hitting the little rocks off the road.
It was almost 5pm and I was still walking, it was getting dark and I had to go home. Luckily I knew the way and made it home before it was too dark.
I went upstairs and changed into shorts and a tank top, through my hair in a messy bun and layed on my bed. I stared at the ceiling for a while, trying to hold back any tears threatening to fall. I wanted music; I needed to play music really loud to drown out everything. Drown out my sorrows and hope it took my pain with it.
